“It funny because for many years people thought Goncharov was the main antagonist of the film, after all, he’s the one everyone’s out to get, right? But it seems people are starting to understand that in actual fact, it is time that is the main adversary in this story. There’s never enough of it and that torments a lot of characters, especially Goncharov, because he’s fighting so desperately to find his place in a world that is so keen on keeping him ostracized.”

One of the things I’ve seen folks yowl about (and I say this affectionately, because I’ve been kinda :C about it too) was the impression a lot of us got at the end of C2 was that they all just scattered to the wind with the exception of the couples, and didn’t seem to be much of a part of each other’s lives. It kinda felt, for a certain reading, that the family broke up. And for a lot of reasons, that’s kinda hard to swallow.

But Liam just waltzed right in and said, “No, you know what, they DO keep up with each other and they ARE a continuous part of each other’s lives, they DON’T just all walk away after being so important to each other and accomplishing so much.”

my character just saved the entire party (and by extent, the entire campaign) from a full party kill, as everyone lay dying around her. We didn't know how much hp the boss, the final enemy, had left, but we knew it wasn't much. So as he made a final offer for her to join him, for old time's sake, she stretched out her hand... and eldritch blasted him. It juuust hit. Damage roll... 7.

- Powerful paladin, who’s kind of antagonistic to the powers that be and to the prime deities, who’s very lonely and isolated. Yeah, if you’re the devil, that’s who you’re gonna pick as like, that’s my guy, right? So it was always gonna happen that way.

 - You’re my best champion. Well, who’s more proud than Zerxus? Zerxus has the most hubris of anybody in the world. And what does the Lord of the Hells love more than pride? He’s like, that’s my guy, this guy thinks he can do anything.
