There was a split second where I thought naming the baby Robin was weird, but after thinking about it a bit it makes sense. She wasn't some random ex of Hughie's, he loved her and she died, needlessly, and her death was the catalyst for the show and the whole reason he and Annie even met and got together. She did nothing wrong and there's no reason for Annie to be jealous. It's a nice gesture and way of remembering her.

like not to harp on this but genuinely as a fat child it feels borderline impossible not to develop restrictive eating disorders and barriers around viewing your body even neutrally, let alone positively, when you're acutely aware that very many adults around you see your fatness as concretely worse than the possibility of you dying. how on earth are you supposed to have anything approaching a normal development when your formative years are spent repenting to everyone with power over you for the way that your body looks
