âY/N just go! Iâll be in there in a second I gotta make sure that girl is okay.â
Kyle wasnât thinking as he spoke, but you warily got onto the bus knowing very well what the guys had done. It scared you, and you sat quietly in your seat as they argued, paying no mind to you. You watched as they kicked the driver off the bus, speeding off without your boyfriend, and cussing and yelling as they knew they were caught.
You worried as you sat chewing on your nails, wanting nothing more than for Kyle to be beside you, but he wasnât. Your next thoughts were faded as you felt the bus lift and then, felt nothing at all.
Kyle watched as the bus flipped over with you in it, he didnât care about anyone else on the bus, only you. He saw two girls standing behind him, both blonde, and he knew they were the ones who were traumatized tonight. They cried as the bus flipped, but both for different reasons. He then turned his attention from them, to the now smoking bus, and ran over to it as people surrounded it, calling 9-1-1.
âY/N!â He screamed, hoping for a response back, but nothing. He started wailing, people looking at him sympathetically, but he didnât pay them any mind, you were gone, and you werenât coming back.
You opened your eyes, the feeling of numbness spreading throughout your body as you looked around your surroundings. A blonde curly haired woman was dancing around to a song you never heard before, and as much as you wanted to speak out and ask her to turn the volume down, you were unable to, and it scared you shitless.
The blonde haired woman heard you grunt, watching as you silently began to freak out. âDarling, donât be scared.â You looked up at her tears eyed, stroking your throat as you looked at her pleadingly. âUnfortunately I wasnât able to help you out with your voice, the best I could do was fix your scars after those witches brought you back.â
Time went on and you began to spend more time with the woman you knew as Misty. She tried her best to bring your voice back, but was unable to due to her lack of gifts. However, she knew of a supreme who had owed her a favor, which guaranteed your voice back.
Now a month later, you were freely speaking, and even became great friends with the young witches who saved you. And now that you were able to do whatever you wanted without seeming zombie-like, you decided to finally see Kyle.
Kyle had completely lost it when your death was confirmed. He sobbed for days on end until there were no tears left to cry. He constantly blamed himself for allowing you to get on the bus after knowing what his frat brothers did to an innocent girl, but with the adrenaline pumping through his veins, he wasnât thinking straight, which lead to a bad decision.
When he heard a knock on his door, he numbly walked up to it, ready to spew out a lie to make the person go away. But when he saw your smiling face, he broke down crying. âY/n? Is that really you?â You smiled once more, âItâs me, Kyle. Iâm home.â
He grabbed ahold of you and held you tightly, sobbing into your shoulder. âI never thought Iâd see you again. They said you were dead!â
You pulled back, your face serious. âI was dead. And I know this sounds crazy but it makes sense once you start thinking about it, two witches saved me, they knew I meant a great deal to you, so they put my body back together and brought me back to life. But it took a couple months for me to get my voice back, thankfully a different witch helped me with that.â
Kyle stared at you in awe, and mostly shock, unable to believe you were really standing in front of him. âI missed you so much.â
