I followed you awhile back when I started getting into ahs, and I’m not exactly a Violet exacts type of person (because I’m a boy) but I think it’s really cool how you find all of those things
How do you usually go about obtaining those clothes? I’m not really sure what an “exact” is, but would I be able to find any for Tate anywhere?

An exact is just that, the ‘exact’ article of clothing a character wore on screen. It’s up to you if you want to count ‘alt’ colors, etc. I have a couple answered asks on how I find things as well as a Beginner's Guide; I used to spend hours upon hours just searching secondhand sites, basically. One of the most important things is to not search up “Violet Harmon” (or whatever character) because there will either be nothing or mostly overprices stuff from resellers. There are definitely some good sellers in the community now though.
For Tate, his exacts are way rarer due to his fashion being from the ~60s and up. I currently own only two of his exacts, and many others have not been identified. His 'Irving' tee (currently sold out) might be the easiest to obtain. I mentioned this before, but one of my biggest regrets in collecting is not buying the sweater he wears when talking to Violet in her room for the first time, because I wanted to complete my Violet collection first..
I’ll make a post containing all of his outfits and identified exacts soon on @tateelangdon. Since many people don’t collect his, some items may have been misidentified, as they have been with Violet in the past. Hopefully we can find more soon.
