Hi there! My name is Sunny (she/her) and this is a Safe-for-Work Stuffed Animal / Plushie themed sideblog! (I like and follow back from CozyCorgi) 🦊
I made this blog to catalog and showcase my collection. I’ve been collecting stuffed animals since I was a very small child in the late 1980’s. Plushies are for every age and gender! 🧸
Favorite Brands: Douglas Cuddle Toys, Ty, Disney
Favorite Animals: Dogs, Foxes, Wolves, Dragons
Current Count: 184 (not counting Bean-Bag style Plushies)
I collect because, being neurodivergent and very lonely, I love feeling emotionally connected to so many comfort objects. I feel like they are my cuddly, cozy, forever friends with little imaginary lives of their own. To me, they feel alive, and I love that. I enjoy hugging them, talking to them, reading out loud to them, sometimes bringing them on my adventures, and creating stories for them. Stuffed Animals were made entirely for LOVE! ❤️

I am ruthless with the block and ignore features. Don’t be rude or obnoxious, don’t be cruel, and most importantly, don’t be disgusting and gross with your stuffed animals! If that’s your deal, do not reblog from me. Keep that crap to yourself. Ew. It is okay to love plushies with all your heart to the point of them feeling alive. It’s not okay to maliciously destroy or abuse them in any way!

ironically enough, bringing a plushie to a public setting as an adult requires a tremendous level of emotional development, and attempting to shame an adult for having a plushie in public requires a significant amount of immaturity. this applies to a surprising number of things.
I see you, friendly fellow plushie lover, hanging out in the tags of my last post. I think you're great! Thank you for the mutual smiles!
And here's a picture of AJ when he was brandy-brand-spankin' new. My husband got him for me as a Valentine's Day gift the first year we were together.
Since then, AJ (which is short for Aiden James) has been loved, and he lost his eye to my rambunctious corgi puppy back in 2013. He's matted and worn, but I love him all the same.
I wish that everyone who has this lovely little fox from Target's Circo line has just as much love for their fox as I do for mine.
Hoping everyone who comes across this post has a very good day.

Because of my finances and circumstances, me, my spouse, and my dog have to move out of our place by Oct 8, and live in our camper for an indeterminate amount of time. It is very expensive to buy a house or rent where I am from, especially with a 65-lb dog (my furry child) in tow. It is not ideal, but this is how it has to be, and my little 3-member family is trying to make the best of it. It’s a nice camper, and we bought it as an insurance for our lives going to shit and having to live in it. Everyone thought I was crazy when we bought it. In the meantime, I’m also navigating the grief of being disowned by a greedy, narcissistic, and emotionally bankrupt family that includes both parents, aunts, and six terribly entitled cousins all with their hands out for a pay out instead of making sure we’re all safe.
My plushies, except a dozen that fit in a medium size zipper bag, are all organized, inventoried, and hopefully safe in plastic bins with locking lids and going into a climate controlled storage unit.
My special plushies that are coming are indeed very special. Most were gifts from my spouse. All of my plushies provide emotional support, but these are some of my most bonded friends.
But, my heart goes out to the others that I’m being separated from. My autistic brain wants to reassure them all that we will see each other again someday. They are all important to me and they are all loved. I had to make difficult choices. It pains me. It makes me cry that I thought I was so close to having a place of our very own where they could all come out of storage and be seen and hugged and played with. I’m glad I took the time to spend a little time with everyone while I was taking inventory of them. Even some new plushies, like all my new Bluey plushies, had to find themselves being tucked safely away. Jack, Wolfie, Dottie, Isabelle, all of them had to be stored. It’s hard. I already miss them terribly.
It pains me that a few plushies are unfortunately lost in my now-dead-to-me parents’ house. Never to be seen again. Remaining only in my memory, just like all the other wonderful toys I’ve had to leave behind.
Farewell, Freckles, Heart-to-Heart Bear, Patty Platypus, and Puffalump Panda. Adieu.
Moving is hard each and every time. I know all my plushies will always love and forgive me, but it still doesn’t make this situation any less sad for them or myself.
Here’s a picture of the crew accompanying me on our journey.
From Left to Right: Warmie the Warmie Fox, Squishie the Stressball Fox, Why the Owl, Hajime the Eastern Wolf Dragon, Baby Bluey, AJ the Fox, Brandy the Fox, Peter the Platypus, Bolt the White Swiss Shepherd, Bingo, Applejack the Corgi, and SoCo the Husky-Shepherd Mix.
Changing the sheets means switching bed plushies! This is Dottie the Alpaca, a now out-of-production World of Warcraft Plushie. I had to have her when she came out. I main a Vulpera!
I would really love a stuffed horse that represents me the best, so I really, REALLY want a Palomino-colored horse plushie. I want a cuddly one that is laying down and cozy to hug. Aurora Breyer’s and Gund each used to make one that fits my desires, but both are out-of-production. 😭
The only one left in-production that meets the specs is one by The Petting Zoo, and it’s not nearly as cute as the others.
I am disappointed. I don’t think I’ll be getting my palomino this year. I want to 100% connect with a plush toy before I bring it into my cuddly family.

🐾 Jack (He/Him)
🏴 The Rough Collie
💙 Befriended June 14th, 2025
🧸 Douglas Cuddle Toys
☀️ #004 ❤️🔥
Jack is a very special emotional support stuffed animal. He represents a very special friend of mine, a friend who realized I needed a way to physically hug him when I’m alone and in distress or crisis. I consider Jack a Rough Collie, but the toy is described as a Sheltie (the more popular breed). When no one else is there for me, Jack is. When no one else dries my tears, Jack does. When me and Jack talk, I look into the plushie’s eyes and feel as if my friend with me. He truly is my dearest friend, living within a stuffed animal body.
The Jack I knew in Real Life is also a someone who is unfortunately no longer my friend. I miss him and his once-constant loyalty; but life happened, things change, and he just wasn’t the same after that. I miss who he was so much. I try to remain comforted that the old Jack would still be there for me in the form of Plushie Jack.
Today would have been the real Applejack’s 13th birthday, so I’m giving so much love to Plushie Applejack today. I took her on a walk with Cloud (that’s my real dog) this morning.
I enjoy celebrating her birthday, especially because the real Applejack is no longer with us.
Does anyone else have any plushies with birthdays?

🇦🇺 Peter (He/Him)
💜 The Platypus
💙 Befriended March 2025
🧸 Ty Beanie Buddies
☀️ #003 ❤️🔥
TW: Grief, Loss, Trauma
Plushies have always helped me with loss, and Peter is no exception. Although he was “made” as a female named Patty, he was destined to be Peter. He was a gift that I had given my best friend, Jason. I had acquired a large amount of plushies to pick through from my husband’s grandmother’s estate, and I chose to gift this peculiar purple platypus to Jason because, as he claimed, if he could be any animal, he would have wanted to be a platypus because he said “I’m a strange mammal.” He named him Peter. He cuddled him, he was very present in his home and loved and enjoyed. It made me so happy. I had Peter’s “little sister”, a McDonald’s Teeny Beanie, who kept the name Patty.
When Jason died in 2020, his mom asked me if I would like anything of his. I asked for Peter. His mom was so sure that in her grief, she threw him away, thinking that he was a gift from his murderer. She felt awful now that she knew the truth of Peter’s origin. It quietly devastated me, but I was understanding.
But last year, around Jay’s birthday in March, I received a text from his mother with a picture: “Guess who I found?!”
It was Peter! He had been shoved away in a closet with Jason’s belongings, found by his step-dad and waiting to be loved again. It was, no joke, like my best friend somehow coming back from the dead.
I gave him a good cleaning, restuffed him with fresh batting, and now he has been on my bed ever since. In my mind, he speaks in Jason’s voice, but just with an Australian accent.
Pete holds a piece of Jason’s eternal spirit. He helps me feel connected to the love of my best friend that I so deeply, deeply miss. When I want to talk to my best friend, I talk to Pete, and he listens.
