it's crazy as well because hating/boycotting pwhl vegas is the exact opposite of what should actually be done?? i'm not saying they have to do pr to fix things but i think they need to take up as much space as possible and we need to make them the better team. not to rehash carbon monoxide anon again but you can't act like pwhl teams are just the "women's equivalent" of nhl teams
literally all the two teams share is a rink. and fans could theoretically pressure the team to be less buddy buddy with the knights if they want to, if that would work or not I don’t know.
but in my mind I’m hoping hockey fans in vegas frustrated by their nhl team may find a more welcoming experience in being pwhl fans? if not from the league then from the community of fans at large. I absolutely do not want vegas based new pwhl fans to enter the pwhl fandom and experience vitriol because of the behaviour of a team in an entirely different league.
don’t take your frustration about vgk or about even just pwhl expansion on a new team and their fanbase??
(I also think that this was the laziest sort of critique of actual issues too, like please apply your critical thinking skills and energy with more care, if you want people to think you actually give a shit about rape culture. because reaches like the ones made in that anon ask just look like someone making connections for shock value and not because they want to advocate for any real justice in the world.)
