like idkkkkk forgive me for never shutting up about this but genuinely how are so many third worlders supposed to just go to the fucking library... I've been to the US as well and the difference between the best library in india and the the average library in the US is astronomically huge in every single aspect (funding, what collection is there to read, etc) and it is genuinely so self centered to just constantly uphold the sanctity of public libraries like they're the same everywhere

Tdf day 2: started my experimental spin of For the Whimsy. This is just a playing with color management spin that I'm doing with the extra ounce I have leftover from my other plans. I'm about halfway through this ply.

In non-spinning progress, I finished the re-combing for my tiny whimsy spin and I've been adding some plain white to my e-spinner bobbin to cover up the thicker leader and provide a bit of cushion for the actual tiny spin.

"Drooling" and "incontinent" are not actually insults or negative concepts

Someone might drool because of neurological disorders, craniofacial disorders, etc. It's when saliva isn't contained in the mouth. That's it.

Being incontinent is also entirely neutral. Someone might be incontinent due to a spinal cord injury, other neurological disability, psychiatric illness, medication side effects, etc. Again, it's just having difficult controlling excrement and urinary output. That's it.

They are not negative things. But:

Using them as an insult adds to stigma

Using them as synonyms to objectively negative words like "gross" and "disgusting" adds to stigma

Using them as negatives spreads misinformation that people who do experience them are inherently more dirty or unsanitary than other people. Which is false.
