This mysterious species of gray fox is estimated to be only around 60 to 80 percent the size of its larger mainland brethren. Fossils indicate it first arrived on the Mexican island around 5,000 years ago, predating the arrival of humans...

Busy day, buncha spindle spinning. I did continue chipping away at the breed study while waiting for the bus and also did a hint of yak hair, but I didn't snap a photo and I'm too lazy to do it now.

Also borrowed fiber arts friend's spindle real quick for a tiny mini project, because I got really tired of working on the stuff I'd actually brought with me.

I had been thinking about only using the treadle wheel on my days off, and using just the espinner on days I’m working, but I was worried I wouldn’t be able to finish that project before the end of TDF if I did that.

Turns out I didn’t need to be worried. I only have 17.4g left to spin, which can probably be done in an hour or so. I am probably going to ply it on the espinner, because I know I’m going to get lazy and not treadle fast enough when I’m plying.
