How do I get over the fear of being judged for what I write? Especially by those in my personal life.

if people in your life are willing to judge you over fiction and what type of art you create—something that is none of their business—then maybe they don’t deserve you in their lives. also you don’t owe anyone the privacy of what you do in your free time (as long as it doesn’t harm or affect anyone in real life), even if they are someone in your life. you don’t even have to tell them what you write if that’s not what you’re comfortable with. what you write is your hobby, and everybody deserves privacy.
