Maybe its just cuz i havent read all of i7 story but i feel like we as a fandom never talk about the fact that tenn literally sold himself to pay for the nanases bills like HELLO???? A 12 year old selling himself to a stranger so his younger brother can get medical treatments is crazy and i still cannot believe that mama and papa nanase agreed.... BUT THAT A WHOLE OTHER THING.... and some people may say it was selfish of tenn to leave but like.. dude.. hes 12..... hes allowed to think of stupid plans hes literally 12..
i also think its totally fair that riku is hurt by this but we as outsiders especially watchers of the story have a duty to look into the characters of the show and understand them and unfortunately way too often i have seen people criticize tenn for leaving with out think about the implications of the fact that he AS A CHILD believed the only solution to his families money issue was to sell himself
now this DOES NOT mean u have to like him you are fully in your right to hate on a character but if you hate him but dont understand his character then idek what youre doing here this is like saying you hate hamburgers after eating a raw patty when the stove and all the ingredients and instructions are given to you but you ignore them..... anyways i had a whole other rant about how both riku and tenn needed time to grow into their own people but i accidentally deleted it all so this is all im posting ok thanks for listening to me rant
