you can NEVER convince me that people wouldn't be screaming if flambae told robert about his wet dream. you can't convince me that people wouldn't be giggling, twirling their hair, kicking their feet if flambae kissed robert the same way visi did. and i can be certain that people would see flambae as heroic, brave, taking initiative if he were the one to try and get the pulse back.
you will say visi is pushing 30 but ignore how flambae is pushing 40. you will say visi's sex jokes are immature but flambae publicly humiliating robert, saying he has a broken dick is funny. you will say that none of visi's attacks were justified but flambae attempting murder is???
which I have to say that it ISN'T because robert was doing his job as mecha man. awww did fwambae find out that wobert was the man that twied to stop him fwom burning down a buiwding and hurting innocent civilians? so it's okay that he attempted to murder him uwu? π₯Ίπ₯Ί boo fucking hoo that flambae lost his fingers i dont give a fuck.
and there have been so many people who say visi needs to be coddled but I've seen MORE people babying waterboy, flambae, phenomaman and robert.

People misinterpret the locker room scene, 'Sweet Exit', between Robert and Invisigal in Dispatch, which comes down to the alleged "SA". I think a lot of this misinterpreting has to do with people who obviously haven't played the game, watched a gameplay of maybe their favorite YouTuber who romanced invisigal but the viewer didn't like her, they didn't look at the big and small details and the meaning behind the scene, they self insert themselves with Robert, and of course, has zero media literacy (the biggest of them all honestly...)
I've been keeping this rant/analysis/thought whatever the fuck it is in my notes for some time. Wasn't so sure about posting it but fuck it idgaf, people irritate with this shit and I need to get it off my chest.
Let's just get this straight; You do not get the locker room kiss unless you have been actively trying with invisigal. The devs made it difficult to get that scene with her if you romanced Blazer or haven't been accepting invisigals advances and haven't been actively flirting with her. If you DID choose her romance path and have also been actively flirting with her, that scene is obviously easy to obtain.
One thing that I like about their path is the Slow Burn. You have to make Robert work hard for her. Not only that, work hard for her redemption as a hero. You have to work hard for her in order to get the kiss aswell. Flirt, go on the date, accept her advances, basically giving her those "im into you" hints.
In any case scenario in a game that has romance and a planned out kiss scene, you will obviously get a kiss scene if you romance that specific character.
Moving onto one part of the locker room scene that people misinterpreted, when invisigal showed her augment. Really stupid, people see that moment as something sexual because her breast are showing and people are using that to their advantage to make this entire scene look horrible. I don't know how many time people have to say this, but there is nothing SEXUAL about breasts. Nothing sexual or physical was happening at that moment. Invisigal wasn't using her lewd jokes at all (To add onto that, she always uses her lewd jokes to hide vulnerability and to show a tough girl facade. Her using those jokes builds her walls even higher). She was showing Robert something she regretted. She showed him her most vulnerable form. That's a huge step for Invisigal.
Last part; The kiss
Consent doesn't always have to be given at the beginning of something and consent doesn't always have to be verbal. Media does NOT show that fact of Consent. Media has always seen consent as something verbal and something you say at the beginning of everything. Consent can be given and said in so many different ways. Consent can be said through body language, words, and it also can be implied. You can back OUT of something and change you mind while it is happening.
She backs out of the kiss to look at Robert, straight in the eyes with a serious look. This is her saying, but without words, "Is this okay/alright". Robert isn't stopping her. He's letting it happening. Choosing the decision to lean out mid kiss is Robert changing his mind and also a form of Consent that invisigal respects and lets it happen. She will stop kissing it and ask zero questions about it.
People claim that Robert is pushing invisigal back and she's refusing. But if people would pay attention...you would take note that her augment is RIGHT where is hand is placed. Around that area. It's different to show somebody something and for them to touch it, especially when it's something on your body. She moved Roberts hand away because she doesn't want to be touched there, obviously because of her augment. That's augment is something she's insecure about. She feels guilt when it comes to the augment. Letting Robert see it is one thing, but it's another thing for him to touch it or glide his hand past it. That's also another form of Consent but not said verbally. Consent can be given in so many ways. To add onto this, in the 5th and 6th photo, if you lean in, Robert does it once again, glides his hand over her augment and keeps his hand around it, and she completely disappears.
This scene shows their yearning for each other and this kiss is like them saying "I don't know if we're going to see each other again, so let's have this first and last kiss" and I fucking love it. It's emotional, its in character, it's everything.
My opinion
I hate how people turned this emotional and beautiful scene into something that it's not. It's a vulnerable moment for both of them, not just Invisigal. It brought some level of trust to them. The concept of a surprise kiss between two characters who have been actively flirting with each other, who have this crazy tension between each other, and who obviously have feelings for each other especially through the romance path with Invisigal suddenly being seen as SA is ridiculous. I also think some of this goes all the way to the double standards and misogyny that people have towards invisigal but that's for a whole other post...
haters who think visi's wet dream is just gooner content are either people who didn't even bother to analyse what the scene was meant for or people who think any form of sex is the same as industry porn. And I'm willing to make a bet that the majority of these people are minors.
First of all, the scene isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Like god forbid a woman get her puh eaten out. But besides that, sex isn't just rough play and kinks. It's supposed to be fun and exciting for people. And it could be a good guide for people to discover what they like and who they like.
That's what it was for Visi. Like, she was so confused when she woke up, and that was the beginning of her developing feelings for Robert. Now, people can argue on this, but I personally think that Visi confirmed her feelings for him during the movies. We see her disappointed when he left the comms and we see her happy when he joins her.
The dream is also about Visi's character, not Robert. She preaches that she's this rough and dominant character, a mechanism meant to shield her vulnerability. But in the dream, she's the one who was receiving pleasure and the one who's being submissive. Sex is also an activity built on trust. Meaning that the period after her capturing Lightningstruck and before her wet dream, she began trusting Robert, that he's not gonna be another person who thinks she can't be a good person.
But obviously, she can't just fully trust him after just one dream. With the mix of her confused feelings and impulsive behaviour, she acts out on this, beginning to push Robert's boundaries. Her straight-up telling him in the men's bathroom was just another act of defence. She doesn't know how to feel about it, so why not find out how Robert feels about it?
And I've said this before, but people who say Robert was uncomfortable in that scene were playing with their eyes closed. Like, none of Robert's responses to her dream showed any sign of disgust. He was thrown off, not uncomfortable. Plus, he still calls her out anyway when Waterboy interrupts them, so there's literally no issue.
TLDR;
The wet dream IS necessary, and those who think otherwise should maybe just not comment on it. It's CRAZY that this needs to be spelt out for some dumb dumbs, like... maybe dispatch just isn't for some people.
