She’s an old Viltrumite. Gristled and wore down. Though she has survived for a long time, she has not survived via strength but rather via unique battle tactics.

She’s respected purely as an elder and tactician, not for her strength and thus is not romantically desired by others both for the fact they see her as being physically inferior, and also for being much older than most of the remaining population.

She’s past her prime so to speak, and that knowledge bothers her. She wonders if the entire reason she’s even still alive is just to fill a space in an already dwindling population…

And to see this old war-torn lady who’s most likely already had her share of partners and children, all of which she’s since lost, start again in a gentler world where she’s wanted not just romantically but by her community as a whole, yet is still unable to quite accept as being safe enough to be able let herself love and be loved by others because of how all too good to be true it feels…

Thula already considers herself weaker than her colleagues, if she lets herself love then it’ll just prove them right— but she just.. can’t.. help.. but want it.

I can imagine her coming up behind him whilst invisible to scare him and before she even gets within range he goes ‘I know you’re there, Courtney.’ and it frustrates her every time.

Since homosexuality is frowned upon on Viltrum she takes any attraction to the same sex as a direct attack on her integrity as a Viltrumite and will challenge them to combat expeditiously…

Honestly he’d be better off paying Malevola to pluck them out of her mouth whenever she sees her with one and replace it with a lollipop.

They were young teens at the time and Will was crushing pretty hard on him. It’s a secret they’ve both kept to themselves since. Mainly because Mark just wasn’t receptive to it.. and so they just quietly agreed not to speak of it again.

It was a pretty big turning point for Will, and it caused a rift in their friendship during the period they were both still processing the entire interaction…

Now they’re older they just kind of view entire thing as just a thing that happened, but it still bonded them in a way neither really realised.

Mark was inadvertently William’s rock during that time. He was the first person he’d ever really expressed himself to, and yes while he was rejected.. Mark never judged him, and made efforts to try and pick up where they left off without worrying about it.

Kregg often takes an authoritative control over conversations and gets genuinely insulted when he’s spoken over. He was a general, and was amongst the top for most of the latter half of his life.

There was Thragg, his leader. Or the soldiers, which all took orders from him. He never really had equals. So others speaking to him as his equal feels alien to him and is subsequently really easy to agitate or to challenge…

Lucan talks down to other people without realising. His very matter-of-fact way of speaking gets him in trouble and becomes frustrated when he senses the shift in atmosphere. It’s something he said. He knows it, and he hates it.

Worst part is the more annoyed he becomes the less careful with his words he is and is more becomes prone to do it again.

If he feels a social interaction just isn’t worth the hassle he will just sneer and walk away...

Anissa denounced being violent, but she was never really able to let go of her old sense of self.

She doesn’t like most people or animals. Her partner and maybe a handful of others she works with are an exception… but it can often get to the point where her partner is all she can bear to look at that day.

She still carries the baggage of letting this planet soften her. Wanting love yet refusing to put down her ego has caused conflicts in the few relationships she has.

Thula is probably the most human-like out of all of them. Though, she still bolsters an aura of arrogance. She speaks in absolutes and this fact is what make-or-breaks the opinions of those around her have of her.

She’s honestly garnered quite a reputation, both good and bad depending on who you ask. Either she’s headstrong and confident, or uptight and cruel… she just likes the attention honestly…
