Vollycover, the small playful hatching, usually loves to prowl and raze her way through the foliage near her parents cave colony entrance. It's a perfectly safe area for her when no one is around to keep constant watch; especially since her juvenile patterning keeps her well camouflaged against any harmful eye.
One day, when both Astrotrain and Blitzwing have been gone for an unusual amount of time, Vollycover starts to get fidgety from the lack of company from, frankly, anyone at all. No other dragon that she usually sees have flown or called by, the only noises she could hear through out the 3 days were faint roars or calls of other dragons, none that she could recognize though. The hunger also started to slowly creep in and make her visibly cranky, the only thing staving off true hunger are the bugs and a small cy-lizards she manages to wrangle. At this stage in Vollycovers growth she is too small to hunt on her own, her lack of skill and limited flight stamina can only bring her so far without assitance.
So when Vollycover hears the heavy steps of a large figure coming up near the front covered clearing of the cave, she excitedly rushes over to the clearing, thinking it's a familiar dragon or even better one of her parents. She enthusiastically chirps and growls at the larger dragon, her fluttering wings giving her a bounce to her step. The larger dragon looms over Vollycover, a sinister feeling drips from its very maw and spark; she stops in place and properly look up and the grave figure above her perched on the rock.
This dragon, if you could even call it that, was one she'd never seen or heard of before. It was strange and scary, the multiple eyes boring into her feeble spark. The thing looked to be made from one of Shockwaves 'experiments'; now she's never actually seen one of his experiments regarding living things, she's only heard of the stories of what happened them and their grotesqueness from either her parents (mainly Blitzwing) or from one of the other colony dragons that they hang/work with. the scales along it's body were few but large and plated, like a spikey pile of live oak leaves. It's massive legs gripped at the rock below, the massive blunt claw threatening to crush it under its weight. The singular pair of limbs reminded Vollycover of birds as their bipedalism perfectly matched, but even then the legs of this beast looked off; like someone fused a pair of arms and legs together then artificially attached them to the body.
The deep guttural growl from this fake dragon shook Vollycover from the ground, her little claws digging into the ground to prevent her from dropping slack to the ground. Her body shivered in fear almost frozen in place and unable to steel herself; she instinctively rose her wings wide to make herself appear bigger, her little growls meekly aiding in this display. She wasn't going to run away, she was just as big and scary as her parents; she told herself as the beast slowly stretched its organic head towards her, the open maw presenting large and sharp teeth. Her legs shuffled her body backwards when it did this even though she thought she wouldn't budge. It's hot acrid breath baked her scales under its weight, there still was a good head or two of space in between them, but that was too close for comfort.
Vollycover let out her deepest growl her body could produce; if she had exposed gular sacs like her parents, they would be fully puffed out in a proper threat display. The second the massive creature moved its head a spec forward, she snapped her jaw of milk teeth as a last warning to not come near. It didn't even react to her threat display and just canted its devilish jaw wider; the inside slightly more exposed showed another row of villiform teeth. What little confidence she had left instantly drained from her body from this reaction; her hackles quaked in petrified fear as every muscle in her body tensed, ready to fee at moments noticed.
The air was thick in tension and heat coming off the sear size of this monstrosity. Vollycover would swear that it might be bigger than her carrier, Astrotrain, who was by far one of the largest dragons she'd seen. She desperately wished her carrier was here at this moment because she knew that he could beat thing beast, he would tear it to smithereens then present the massacred body to her then to the colonies leader in boastful satisfaction. Tears glossed over her optics as it threatens to blur her vision; she want her parents to be back! Where were they and why aren't they back yet? Did this beast get them and then tracked her sent? Did it get the colony? Her fellow hatchling friends? What does it want? Why is it here? Where is everyone?
Unanswered questions raced through her mind, every question becoming more desperate and scared. The thick tense air only increased when the maw of teeth moved and complex growls and clicks were heard; it was trying to speak but the language just sounds so alien to her, even as its noises were now sounding more and more irritated. A sudden pause in the attempted communication brought Vollycover out of her mind of questions, everything was still and threatened to snap at a moments notice.

made some project hail mary ocs after watching the movie for the 8th time and currently reading the book. :>:>:>
these two are "Goode" and "Heart" (both being nicknamed after "johnny b. goode" and "fire in my heart" due to their name calls sounding similar to the songs)
Goode works as an encoder/investigator for anything to do with big events or crimes; Goode will even break into secure areas just to get answers. Goode is also often seen as a 'good-luck' charm to others if it is deemed so by Goode.
Heart works as a tailor/archivist who will commonly go to any sort of community/'dancing' event to enjoy, sometimes even cut work short just to do so. Heart loves outfit making and has even set up a connection hub for others; on some outfits there are hints or references from any historical archive that Heart had documented.
they both met each other in the archival unit that Heart works at, Goode needed some information regarding a old celebration; it wasn't hard to find as it was a well known one so Heart lent it anyway.
for some reason Goode just kept returning; usually stating the need for certain cleared (or not) information, until it divulged into about Heart to then fall further into outings with each other and courting.
she loves sparkplugs, always favoring the slight crunch from the ceramics and the the zing from the aluminum base and creamy hints of nickel.
outside from assigned duties she takes almost every opportunity to read anything she can; tenting to favor subjects of culinary and exo-travel. (even though she was online in the later half of the war and was station off-planets; Vollycover never really got the chance to really absorb the nature of the exo-planets) she'll memorize any type of cultural/culinary information from before the war as well and will try to replicate them as best as she can.
when it came to fighting (even as a youngling) she was hesitant to properly preform because her development was obstructed, not hitting the correct markers, and because of the accident that totally messed her up.

daily patrol of the southern Rust Sea site. they each fly to their main stations around the southern quadrant, before regrouping.
the ''Surf Seekers" coined by Oxitrix (the middle) were stationed along the southern quadrant of the Rust Sea to monitor any uprearing activity of its weather and inhabitants.
Goldwing (the front) the declared trine leader of the surf seekers is often the main one monitoring the weather activity.
Oxitrix (the middle) usually monitors any "wildlife" and/or aggressive creatures along the sea and the bordering land.
Arielrust (the back) will always be the one to monitor any potential enemy/ally/trade units (i.e. weapons, people, machinery).
now all three can switch between each 'job', but these are typically the one they go after; unless Goldwing says otherwise. the same goes for each station depending on certain events like: weather, hostile entities, or pronounced individuals. sometimes they will not ungroup if any of those threat types are to high in danger.
a sketch of VolleyCover in the copper chapel's library, as it's being used as a temporary safe house for her. (i might render this later, idk)
the copper chapel itself is one of the more secure buildings in the secured location; it belongs to a desolate almost abandoned town. the towns usefulness goes as far as the locations seclusively, which makes it a great place to store materials or precious cargo.
VolleyCover is placed into the chapel's library to wait for the all clear and safe pick up from Astrotrain; her and the location were placed under Blitzwings (and a few others) watch until the designated pickup.
however something outside occurred and she was told to stay in place until Blitzwing (or one of the others on watch) tell her its ok. so far, she's been waiting for almost half a day, out of the past four days being there. VolleyCover is used to the long waits for either of her creators and being told to stay in place for a while until told otherwise. she's an especially good sparkling during these periods of being alone because she doesn't like to be alone; VolleyCover thinks the better she behaves the faster her creators will come and retrieve her.
(this event is almost shortly before the major accident that changes her whole life and relationships.)

eeheheeheheeh...... another OC because i'm crazy and have way too many ideas. ;>
This is VolleyCover (she/they), and yes they are an AstroBlitz fan kid (she is originally developed from my dragon AU, but i wanted to give her a robo design so.... yeah)
im still a little unsure about her design b/c the colours and her alt-modes (so expect a maybe change later)
character wise: she is an in progress
what i've got so far: she wasn't planned (per say), her relationship with her creator is very strained (she later on, volunteers to be stationed on a separate planet, away from them...), there was a very big accident when they were young that resulted in them having major frame issues (ex. transforming into different alts is painful- kinda like chronic pain) as well as partial hearing loss (and some other stuff, i have yet to decide), she is a very good fighter despite her major health issues, tba ;> (and there is going to be some 'religious' theming to her b/c im crazy and i think it would be interesting/funny that BlitzWing would have some religious aspect to him and its then put onto her.)
