I work in a jewelry store and believe me, the amount of times we have to use our "creepy / dangerous client" code is staggering. Yes, I want to sell you that engagement ring. No, I don't want to go out with you - especially when I met your future fiancée last week. 

I had a man come in and tell me how pretty my dress was -- which would be fine -- I like compliments! But he said it in a creepy way, staring at my breasts (which were completely covered; I don't show (much) cleavage at work - and told me that I needed a necklace to go with it - and started shopping for me! I told him I had sent the necklace that my fiance bought me out for repair that morning (which I had; I broke the chain) but Creepy Guy wouldn't leave me alone and told me that I "needed to find a nice older gentleman to provide for me." Um, fuck you, good sir, I can provide quite well for myself - and I am engaged anyway. Creepy Guy was in the store for over an hour (and we were busy) until I handed him over to my boss, who promptly was able to remove him from the store.
