The reception area _
This area will function as a cashier check out point, purchase point, and an information desk for both staff and customers as it is located right next to the only access points leading to the first floor.Ā
This area will fall within the retail admin block under the accommodation list. It accommodates both the cashier and receptionist, who will perform admin work amongst staff members and on floor managing.Ā

The crucial requirements for this dedicated space are a reception desk, storage for packaging, files, admin work, cash register, and two chairs and POS.

The aim of the brand identity for the Retail health and Fitness store will be fun, adventurous and cosy, it will be expressed through essential features of the interior through the concept relating to health and fitness and what the store has to offer, such as 100% safe, natural organically produced feminine hygiene and skincare products as well as non-harmful synthetic chemical pesticides and fertilizers that are hidden and can potentially be a risk to human health clothing and underwear for woman. The Interior identity will be seen through the use of the above-mentioned theories, concept, proposed colour scheme and the logo design through forms, shapes, patterns, textures, and the atmosphere.
Objectives for the brand identity:
Ā· To create signage that expresses health and fitness and have merchandiseĀ Ā Ā Ā display for woman that are clearly visible from the busy road and from allĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā entrances.
Ā· To make use of the proposed colour scheme that was derived from theĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā conceptĀ of the health protein chain through materials and textures throughoutĀ Ā the interior space.
Ā· To have forms and shapes that relates back to the concept and logo designĀ Ā Ā Ā elements.
Ā· To make create a health environment through the theories expressed above,Ā Ā Ā especially through biophilia design and its benefits, with experience designĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā through all senses encouraging interaction.

PROPOSED FACILITY -Ā Name & Logo Development
The name of the HEALTH AND FITNESS STORE design is āBotanic Fitā.
The word āBotanicā as an adjective has the meaning of ārelated to botany, the study of plantsā and as a noun, it has the meaning of Ā āthe use of growing plants for food, medicine and other productsā.
The word āFitā originates from the author Alex Wheatle, who used the term "fit" to describe good-looking women in his novel Brixton Rock, set in 1979 (BBC, 2014). The meaning of the word fit is described as ābeing in good health, especially because of regular physical exerciseā.
The idea of the name is for it to relate to the health, and fitness store and what it offers, such as active and underwear as well as feminine hygiene products produced through the study and use of plant and animal-based products that are organic and natural as well as having the service of yoga, pilates and aerobics studio for women to keep fit and stay in good health.
The logo design was inspired by the name āBotanicā and its meaning, as it was driven from the concept of the protein chain. Its circular building blocked bonded together to form a linear chain seen in the image post below, as well as the focus and study of plants which represents the plant as a central and focus and the use of the colour green within the logo is that it inspires and uplifts and promotes the love for nature, growth and balance.

Key demographics of this target market will be focused on women of all ethnicities and religious backgrounds with 99% of females atĀ the age range of 16-65 as its been studies and seen that women have more needs, wants and challenges than men do.
Additionally, women do not have facilities catering for their health, self-care, and fitness journeys, as well as many religions do not agree on normal fitness facilities for its female members. Therefore, I will be placing my focus on women by satisfying their challenges though an interior design intervention approach.Ā

The colour scheme was taken and inspired by the concept and where it derived from which is from an inspired polypeptide chain, also known as the protein chain with each meaning behind each colour which was also chosen in relation to womanās need for balance, comfort, loyal and inspirational, fun, and creative, secure space.

Colour plays an important role in conveying information, creating certain moods, and even influencing the decisions people make as well as colour preferences also exert an influence on the objects people choose to purchase, the clothes they wear, and the way they adorn their environments
Every human being has different emotions attached to different colours. People often select objects in colours that evoke certain moods or feelings, such as selecting a car colour that seems sporty, futuristic, sleek, or trustworthy. The concept for the Proposed Retail Health and Fitness store will not only be the main reason behind all design making decisions made for womanās health but it will also create a specific environment and mood for the interior space and essentially encourage all woman to make use of the proposed spaces.
The concept for the proposed store is the āprotein chainā as seen in the image above which describes itĀ being a natural health food source chain made up of protein that contains an adequate proportion of nine essential amino acids that are necessarily needed in the human body which are fundamental components of our bodies and vital for physiological functions such as protein synthesis, tissue repair and nutrient absorption which then also related back to products and services being offered within the proposed store made of natural organically products that consist of health benefits especially for woman.
