So, I looked up “The Lunar Chronicles” on Google Images, hoping to find some really awesome fanart (Because this fandom is the best when it comes to fanart tbh), and I was scrolling, and I saw a picture of Chloe Bennet (recognizable immediately by me because I watched all three seasons of Agents of SHIELD this summer and I’m dying for season four). I clicked on it and the description-thingy that Google Images puts next to the image was “Cinder is arguably the “main” character in the Lunar Chronicles, so we need someone who can do her character justice. Chloe Bennet shows she has the chops …” And I just…. Chloe Bennet is a great actress, and she portrays a seriously badass character in AoS, so I think the role of Cinder would be no problem for her. And before everyone says “But she’s nOT ASAIN!!”, Marissa Meyer has stated that Cinder is at least partially caucasian. After all, she’s a lunar, not an earthen. Just because she lives in New Bejing doesn’t mean she really is Asain. Chloe Bennet as Cinder!
