At least the last wilderness era was caused because some guy in the BBC just genuinely despised doctor who and was actively trying to kill it. This one happened because Disney was being the same faceless megacorporation its always been. Studio meddling just doesn't hit the same when it comes from a place of mercenarian commerce rather than sincere passionate hatred.
