Adaine: Spellcasters hate this fact but if you just stick your fingers in their mouth while they’re casting a spell with a verbal component it’s literally more effective than a counter spell.
Adaine: This also works with pinning their hands against the wall when they’re trying to use somnatic components.

I love the idea of as Adaine grows closer to Aelwyn and they get really close, Aelwyn begins to hang out with the rest of the Bad Kids + co. [I have brought some of these up before]
So.. here’s my thoughts!
Aelwyn and Fabian - They break up and end up being just friends, but they don’t actually talk much other than the occasional deep conversation about their traumatizing families forcing them to be so overly cocky and rude just to earn praise and love.
Aelwyn and Riz - Somehow, Aelwyn turns a new leaf and the two are buddy buddy. She still teases him with nicknames but they’re not meant literally (she will cast a spell at anyone using it unironically. I like to think that cause he is close with Adaine and is probably over the most, that Aelwyn befriended Riz first and accidentally cast a spell on Fabian because he called Riz ‘The Ball’). Aelwyn drags him out of his office, Riz opens her eyes to investigation work. I personally could see Aelwyn working in forensics with a side hustle of shelter volunteering. Anyways these two are very close (and both Adaine and Fabian pout about it every so often as a joke).
Aelwyn and Kristen - Sorry, did you say my two favorite sapphics who attend gay bars and fluster the fuck out of some baby gays/rainbows? Those two can hone out someone from miles away who hasn’t had their awakening and they will step in without a question. Once again bringing up my ‘Aelwyn calls Kristen by their last name only’ oh and also I think they’re kinda friends with benefits/fuck buddies/they’re gay as hell for each other but don’t want a relationship with each other. Aelwyn swapping places with Adaine for ‘girls night out’ (Ayda, Kristen, Fig) because Adaine would rather stay home and Aelwyn likes to party. Also Gorgug joins girls night
Aelwyn and Gorgug - I don’t think they’d really come in contact either than Aelwyn being a bit nosy and just questioning Gorgug as he works. Sometimes the noise is nice, other times he gets annoyed at her. They do experience a lot of gender fuckery together though and confide in one another every so often, Aelwyn loves being his hype-man. Other than that, they are very neutral.
Aelwyn and Fig - Aelwyn discovers that there is someone who is the total opposite of her and somehow their energies mesh really well. Although she claims it was an accident, Aelwyn has stepped into older sister roll for Fig as well. Doesn’t help that Sandra Lynn adopted Aelwyn+Adaine alongside Jawbone so they’re technically siblings anyways. Fig just hella radiates younger sibling energy. Also, they do those ‘putting my clean girl sister in alt aesthetic’ videos a lot.
Aelwyn and Zayn - Really close and good friends who chat a lot about nonsense. I think the two spend a lot of time gossiping.
Aelwyn and Tracker - They don’t really talk but I think after the breakup between her and Kristen, Aelwyn inevitably sides with Kristen and they don’t really see each other willingly. No bad blood or anything, it’s just awkward.
Aelwyn and Ragh - Honestly not sure. I think they’d be more on the Gorgug side of things where they’re chill but nothing really connects them enough to talk. I could see them at some point becoming good friends though, but Ragh just has that power

we need to talk about what an ace riz is to the party because not only is he sneaking around and snooping for plot reasons but he’ll also randomly pull out the craziest legolas physics and perform physical feats previously believed impossible
The Demon vs. Devil line giving Riz Gukgak so much trouble all the time is one of my favorite character bits for him, whether or not it's intentional by Brian Murphy, because it's like, for Riz, evil is evil is evil and the goals of those entities do not matter to him.
He has said he's chaotic good (and him outright executing Daybreak is evidence of that), but on a reactionary level, Riz has multiple times adhered to a lawful good frame of reference, likely because of Sklonda.
And it's such a great character point that I love for Riz.

Kinda a random question, but I’m interested to know what people think.
SO, Riz is canonly aro or ace (or both), but I’ve seen a lot of confusion talk about how people view him. Some say that he’s ace because that’s what was said in the interviews or somewhere else (I can’t find where it is so be nice to me if you can find it), some say he’s aro because his Nightmare Forest experience + Baron is heavily focused on his friends leaving him for a romantic partner because ‘friends are valued less than partners’
I know the majority of us believe he’s aroace but I wanted to see if there’s any different opinions so..
