Hello, my name is Nadin. I’m from Gaza. I’m a graphic design graduate, a wife—and now, a mother.

I finished my design studies just before the war began. I had dreams of starting a small studio, of creating art that told stories. I used to think about colors and fonts and the future.

Then, the war came. And the future became something we tried to hold onto, moment by moment.

On October 22, 2023, I learned I was pregnant when a missile destroyed my husband’s family home, killing 25 members—his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews—entire branches of our family in seconds.

We were displaced twice. Everything was gone—home, safety, routine, rest.

A few weeks later, I gave birth to our daughter. There was no crib, no celebration—not even stillness. But she arrived, quietly and beautifully. In her eyes I saw something I hadn’t felt in weeks: life that still wanted to grow.

Now, our days are shaped by decisions that could dismantle the future we are trying to build together.

Today, Israel’s government is discussing plans for a full military occupation of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City and southern regions. The stated aim: to eliminate Hamas and later hand governing control to allied Arab forces—not Israel—but with no clear path to peace or normalcy.

The humanitarian fallout is devastating. More than 61,000 Palestinians have died in this war; hunger and malnutrition are rising sharply. Hospitals in north Gaza have shut down, and 193 people have now died of starvation, nearly half of them children.

Aid remains blocked, water is scarce, and many risk dying of hunger or disease long before future promises arrive.

We Don’t Know What Comes Next There’s no clear path forward—only uncertainty for our daughter’s life and our ability to survive another day.

Our first conversation:

I will not be giving anyone free art, asking an artist to do free commissions for you is disrespectful enough. Im sure theres one or two artists out there that would do this, but majority of us wouldnt. I responded kindly and declined for that matter.

10 minutes later, I get a dm from another account out of nowhere. Here's our entire conversation (read from left to right for it to be in order)

I wasnt able to find the other artists posts but it seems as if its from the same person. The reason why I suspected these two to be the same people, is because of the odd timestamp — randomly messaging me 10 minutes later after declining, having no posts indicating you're an artist, and the fact that both of them say "arts" instead of "art."

Overall I want other artists to be aware. Even if im somehow wrong about this not being their art, the intentions behind this were clear. Thanks.

I was recently messaged by an account clarifying that eviebells isnt tilt. My suspicion of these two still being the same person remains, due to the odd timestamp, the similar speech pattern, both being into splatoon, and the fact that tilt (from what I've seen from others so far) makes a lot of alt accounts. So ill be saying this to keep it neutral since this is a mess rn

A Tumblr user called me saying they reported my account by accident and I needed to call a Tumblr support on Discord: Jarell Perry (this Tumblr user account was already hacked, now I know that)

Then I called this guy on Discord. I was desperate cause in the "warning" said my account would be blocked in 24 hours. But the whole conversation was REALLY strange, even more when he gave me, OUT OF NOWHERE, his "certificate":

He asked, then, for me to change my email and I was like "what kind of support would ask this crap?"

Besides my suspicions, TWO things saved me to fall for this shit:

>>> The original person that called me was hacked: I even went a little further and searched the tumblr user on Google (I needed to contact them some other way to confirm the message) and, guess what, they have an Instagram account AND A NEW TUMBLR ACCOUNT, cause the first one was HACKED!! THE ONE THAT WAS TALKING WITH ME!!! (Here is the post explaining it, also consider to follow this artist, their art is amazing! The NEW and SAFE account is @cypher-030)

THEN, I reported both the scammers and blocked them! Apparently, the hacked Tumblr account that called me is already banned at the time I write this warning! But must be more of them!

EVERYONE, DON'T FALL FOR THIS! If this happened with you, it would mean a lot if you reblogged!

Also, my followers: I will NEVER send a message about anything like this for you on private! I almost NEVER talk on private, I just talk on comments, asks and hashtag reblogs! Please please, know that!
