Yu-Gi-Oh!

Specifically Duel Monsters anime and early manga. Seto Kaiba is my blorbo and I ship him with everyone (number one ship will always be puppyshipping/violetshipping but everyone plus Kaiba is fun). If anyone tries to infantilize Yugi I will fight you. He is a teenage boy goth and he has the means to cut a bitch when necessary. Also I am so sorry but I will compare everything else with yugioh. It is literally impossible for my mind not to assign yugioh characters to a show like they are actors.

Soul Eater

I've watched this show countless times. It's my comfort show. I feel like I don't care so much for the overarching plot as much as I LOVE the character dynamics, aesthetics and power system. And the original dub is my favorite. Maka's voice actor is so unique in her delivery and I love her action scenes.

Spy x Family

Yor. Need I say more? She is everything to me. Also the slow burn is incredible and I just really enjoy the underlying narrative of how all of the main characters are hiding their true selves and how we are all often forced to conform based on societal pressures that usually stem not just from the need to belong but the fear of being 'other'ed and how easy it is to justify violence by 'other'ing.

Vocaloid/Project Sekai

I've been listening to Vocaloid songs since Alice Human Sacrifice was first cross-posted to YouTube from NND and I'm so glad the fandom has been getting some real attention the last couple of years. The Kagamines are especially dear to me bc I would always play around with my vocal range to sing as both of them and enjoyed wanting to be both of them. They're a huge part of me accepting myself as genderfluid. I also play tons of Project Sekai which I didn't care about the stories until I saw the And Now I Wear This Ribbon event and realized the characters were actually really well written. The fact every prsk character has at least one queer/neurodivergency (coded) trait is so refreshing. The fandom really knows how to improve them with even more HC traits. (I am pro every prsk ship minus incest (note: incest is different than selfcest, I WILL enjoy mikuxmiku ships and the like))
