There are three things Darcy and Steve learn when they wake up: 

1) they are in the hospital 2) they can’t remember anything from the last two weeks 3) they’re…married?

The last thing Darcy can remember is being sent off on a mission–her first ever with SHIELD–with Steve as her partner to stop an assassination attempt. And while SHIELD is saying that it’s been mission accomplished and the target is safe, both Darcy and Steve can’t help feeling like something’s off. They struggle to piece together the events of the last two weeks, including where they went, what they did, how they ended up in the hospital, and why did they get married?

When SHIELD hears that the son of a high-ranking HYDRA supporter might be susceptible to becoming an informant, they decide to test the waters. The opportunity arises when a couples’ reality show begins filming–a reality show the son’s fame-hungry girlfriend has signed them up for. Steve is all for going in and winning the guy’s trust–he just needs a partner in crime.

But they don’t need an agent. They need a distraction. 

Enter Darcy Lewis. She’s a little loud, a little inappropriate, and thoroughly game to play the role of crazy girlfriend while Steve tries to win over the mark. From catfights with the other girls, to steamy fake-out make-outs with Steve, Darcy’s got her role down pat. It’s supposed to be a relatively safe assignment–play some silly games, sit through fake couples therapy, have some fun, and share some kisses with Steve Rogers–what could go wrong?
