They are NOT a dadster, but in their canon they have cared for a fellow Fragment's family due to being such good friends with him.

Their typical voice is that of a 50s radio announcer. They seldom drop that act for anybody, preferring to make people feel like they're in the spotlight and not them.

They have a human form, but they only take it when they feel that they would either not be accepted as a skeleton or the person that they're with prefers the human form. They used to date a Human Mage before the War between Monsters and Humans, and when he was wrongly attacked by other Monster's, they went on a rampage and slaughtered both parts of their side and the other side. Similarly, that boyfriend fully died Underground and became known as Napstablook, and later, Napstaton. Because of this, if their timeline had a severe reason to fear them, and later on down the line, when their Queen Toriel declared war on the Humans again, they... took matters into their own hands to stop it.

Their Mettablook was the Human sister of their boyfriend who wanted to still be a part of their family despite the war. She was the only Human in the Underground until she died and the power from the barrier turned her into Mettablook, who struggled with his identity for a while before settling on the fact that he wanted to be referred to as a guy.

Neither of the Blooks remember their relationship to Magari, but Napstaton did still end up dating Magari again. He was treated as a different person with a different set of hobbies and likes and traits.

Despite the fact that they came from an Underswap timeline, meaning they were slotted into the River Guardian position in their timeline, they helped build the Core with their best friend Hera (the royal scientist) after she landed the job from making Napstaton his new robot body.

The experiments on Human Souls never happened in that timeline, because Magari shut them down. Hera had tried to do experiments with Frisk (the royal Human) but Magari made sure to shut that shit down before the King and Queen found out. The two of them still collaborated on Soul research, but being much more careful about it. And the intent was never to break the barrier, but instead prolong life to Monsters and make life Underground much more tolerable by giving them something to hope for.

Similarly, the Amalgamates never happened. Because in their timeline, the experiments for preventing a Monster from falling down actually WORKED, with Hera helming it and getting advice from her fellow workers and her newest assistant. Undyne was always a sweetheart but if she was handling it, the Amalgamates probably would have happened. There are ... other horrors lurking in the Lab however. Magari knows about them but will take that information to their grave.

Magari is a lot smarter than they let on to anybody initially. They studied the makings of shadow golems with their boyfriend above ground, underneath the watchful eye of their secret coven, meant for giving people with illnesses, or disabilities, or something along those lines, a way to access the outside world without having to strain themselves too much. (This research got cut off by the war, but there were some people who got a hold of this magic outside the coven due to them knowing the coven personally.)

Though they did not have the two skeleton brothers themselves, they did check up on them from time to time. They never got too close, but occasionally, Papyrus would visit the shop they owned in Waterfall for either handmade kreteks or cigarettes. Despite their hesitation to do so, he was always a regular customer and never came in too frequently for the same thing.

“I didn’t antagonize him! I was only trying to clean and he wouldn’t let me near Doc’s chair! He attacked me for it!”

She nearly shouted on the floor and was feeling dizzy and faint, her arm being in the Pokemon’s jaw for several minutes now. The one number she called and it was Shane who, she thought could possibly help her. If she could call anyone else, she would.

“Why would I antagonize a Pokemon? I work with them! I try to make sure they don’t attack people like this! Your number was the first one I picked in the moment! If I try pulling my arm out of his jaw, I’ll lose it and my Nidoking can’t stop him right now!”

Tears burned her eyes from how painful it was, barely able to touch the floor with her feet to even steady herself. “Please? I hate asking this but please..I need help..”

Shane leans against the door to his room and stares at his wife and best friend, the latter of which has seemingly noticed that he’s on a call that’s a bit serious despite keeping it hush hush and just stares at him. They both share a moment before the pirate goes back to playing Knights and Hunters with Leonel. 

Gods above, he’s going to regret this. 

“I’ll be over in a spell.” And he hangs up. 

He tucks his work phone away in a pocket of his clothes and picks up his personal phone, bookmarking the page in his book and cleaning up some. His best friend speaks up and goes, “Need some help with this one?” 

Shane pauses. “...no. This should be easy. I’ve not dealt with Pokemon, but how hard could it be?”

Raphael turns to him as the lich finishes cleaning up, confused. “Hah?”

And he snaps his fingers. 

Assassin

Assassins can use magic to attack and curse their foes, and are skilled with a variety of weapons. They can fight gracefully up close, while unarmed or armed. They are also excellent at attacking enemies at a distance with guns, bows, and other ranged weapons. They can even create simple illusions and disappear into the shadows.

Assassins are typically reserved and quite, and try to avoid emotional attachments. Most are cruel and apathetic, shy and untrusting, or hurt by the world and seeking revenge. They often take pay for killing specific targets, and have little to no value in human life.

Spiritualist

Spiritualists are capable of calling upon spirits, summoning armies of ghosts. Spiritualists often carry throwing weapons, like shurikens and chakrams, and will typically have a katana as well. They are capable of infusing their weapons with souls, and creating swirling storms of spirits.

Spiritualists are often loyal, and can summon their fallen allies into battle due to their love for the person who has died.

The woman knew better than to try to yank her arm out of the Feraligatr’s mouth. She could, that is, if she wanted to lose half of her arm! She was starting to panic though as she waited on the line for someone to pick up, anyone that could help her. So when she did get an answer and heard a voice she was familiar with, she seemed relieved.

“Shane! Thank goodness you answered! I’m sorry this is kinda late for you but, I need help!”

She looked over at the two Pokemon that now, were looking right at her, especially the darkened gaze of the water type. She shook with utter fear of what else he planned on doing next, turning her attention back to the phone.

“I hate to ask but can you come over please?!” She sounded so distressed, still dangling from the Pokemon’s mouth like she was his latest chew toy. “Feraligatr has my arm in his mouth and he won’t let go!”

He hums, listening to her but not really wanting to hear her side of the story, knowing it would lead to her dragging him away from his family and time spent relaxing. Maybe he could ignore her. She sounds like she’s being ridiculous. Why would she ever really find herself in this predicament anyways? Although, wouldn’t it be funny if she really was that stupid...

“Right... Why do you have your arm in an alligator’s mouth anyway? That sounds like your fault.” Maybe that’s rude. He pinches the bridge of his nose. “Okay. Look. Why should I help? You clearly antagonized it, if you’re being genuine about your panic and you didn’t antagonize it.”

Syphoria has had her concerns greatly as of late, and the more that she’s seen Doc leaving to take care of things, she’s finding it harder and harder to manage things around the Daycare. Especially for specific Pokemon that lived there.

First, Kanga had bitten her hand when she was trying to feed the little baby. Kanga never bit her before, and it had been recent that it started. And now, she had been having trouble with some of the Pokemon that were under Doc. Prince hadn’t been giving her trouble, the little guy has actually been trying to help Pixie along with her. But the Totodile that was in Doc’s care, that now had evolved into a Feraligatr, looked a lot different than what he was suppose to look.

And he was giving her trouble.

“Feraligatr, sweetie, I know that’s Doc’s chair, but I need to clean up.” She’d been trying to clean up the living room before her husband came back, but the water type hadn’t been cooperating with her. In fact, any time she approached Doc’s chair, the larger Pokemon started glaring and growling at her. It had gotten to the point that many of the baby Pokemon were hiding behind her, just to get away from him.

“Sweetie, I need to clean. Could you please move so I can clean up Doc’s chair?” She asked once more, standing her ground and staring up at the Pokemon. What she hadn’t expected….

…Was the Feraligatr suddenly lunging at her.

The screams that came from the woman was loud and the baby Pokemon immediately scattered to hide, Syphoria trying to pull her arm back from the larger Pokemon’s jaw. Her screams alerted her Nidoking to charge into the room and go after the Feraligatr, only to see now that his owner was dangling from his jaw.

“KING!” She cried out with her arm still locked in the water Pokemon’s jaw, King standing with sweat down his face. If he were to try to attack that Pokemon now, Syphoria would be caught in the crossfire. The Feraligatr growled at King with a knowing grin on his snout and Syph only had a little time while he was distracted, grabbing her phone out of her pocket to call a number. What number? Any number at this rate!

She needed help!

Her fingers are guided across her phone with purpose and ease, but almost not of her own volition. Easily, she finds the number of a shop that she hopes is open, of a man who should still be up, or at least she hopes still is, and she calls it.

Flip a page, run his fingers along the raised dots and dashes along the page, get annoyed that he can’t explain to people that he can see magical writing, grumble about it, continue reading. Look up at his son playing with his wife and best friend. Check in with the time, make sure it’s not time for bed for his son. No, he can stay up for a while longer. Tap, tap, tap. 

Out of nowhere, his work phone starts ringing and he almost jumps. What the hell? It’s way past work hours. People should know that. He doesn’t work now because his wife’s come back and his best friend has chosen to stay with him. They all live under one shared apartment and they all share two rooms, it’s a mess! He’s told people this! Who the right hell is it?

He might as well answer.

Berserker

Berserkers are large and powerful, but have almost nonexistent magical powers. They are strong and hardy, and often lose control of themselves in battle. They aren't usually to smartest or kindest, and won't hesitate to kill their enemies. The same quality that causes them to lose control also allows them to hold on to life and continue fighting even when badly wounded.

Clover Knight

Clover Nights are balanced between warriors and mages. They normally fight with whips, rapiers, and staves, and can cast a variety of spells. They have excellent senses of hearing and sight, and are hard to sneak up on. They are also usually very endurant and have great vitality.

Composer

Composers use a bladed baton in battle, slicing through anyone that gets to close. When paired with Musicians and Bards, they can orchestrate beautiful pieces of music that can bring tears even to the eyes of a god. Composers are incredibly rare, and are considered a blessing to the earth. They can attack with their magic, as well as healing their allies, supporting their comrades, and cursing any opponents. They are quite powerful mages, and are agile and elegant in physical combat as well. Composers interestingly are capable of playing music with their baton. They are regarded as one of the rarest classes, alongside the noble blades, and are amongst the most powerful.

Composers are typically introverted, but one you get to know them they are incredibly friendly and loyal. They often work as conductors, and will create some of the best songs ever written.

Explorers/Adventurers

Explorers and Adventurers are skilled in magic and with guns, whips, daggers, and staves. They can sense the layout of caves and dungeons, and detect booby traps and treasures. They are usually brave and intelligent, and devote themselves to uncovering the secrets of the past. Their adventures often allow them to uncover ancient secrets and spells, allowing them to become quite powerful. They have the ability to make others feel like the truth is more appealing, influencing others to give up information, but it usually doesn't work against closely guarded secrets.
