You want me to ~be compassionate~ here's the compassionate answer: your trauma will tell you you're a helpless child forever and you need to Not Think This Way for yourself (living under the assumption you're still in danger whether you actually are or not) and everyone else who has to tiptoe around your Sensitivity. That's how you break the cycle and you can only do this by accepting responsibility for your actions. And it seems like a small semantic thing but imo step one is calling yourself a survivor instead of a victim. Self identifying with your victimhood helps No One. You lived, now get up

i also wanna add on that "i like xyz because of my trauma" isn't a legitimate reason to romanticize abuse, and speaking from experience, it's not helpful for your recovery. i see waaay too much of this around here, and i get it. it's a super common trauma response. but it is not helpful to anyone, and the sooner people realize this, the better.

Honestly, it's like picking up a book and saying "I know all these words, I can type, I could have written this" like there's no middle step between the technical ability and the finished work.
