whenever i talk about how its fucked people call that pony derpy, someone will tell me about how they are, or a person they know is reclaiming it. and like yeah reclamation is great, but do we all understand how hasbro and/or the fandom naming their caricature a slur is different from you reclaiming something?

sometimes people on here talk about "accountability" in a way that shows they think that the person they've decided is in the wrong can't actually do anything to redeem themselves other than like. suicide.
