Youâve never heard of Rock Lititz. But before the pandemic put the industry on hold, the biggest names in music were joining its waitlist.
The day people realize just how much âbusinessâ show business is, maybe things will change.Â
just a man and his stickers
i donât know what it is about it but years later this is still just as funny as it was when i first saw it
A interactive guide to discovering electronic music
I went with ârock,â and got recommended Kid A. No. But I like the âchill vibe.â And got Sneaker Pimps. No. It could be âdirtier.â Ok, UNKLE I can live with, but that was the last option in the ârabbit holeâ I went down. Cute, and an easy way to listen to music without having to think about it.Â

A fun way to discover interesting color combinations.
Joining the Lacroix Flavor Generator in the sometimes you donât want to read anything or do anything, just scroll dumb stuff and chuckle category. Tag yourself Iâm âlousy watermelon.â And âgrumpiest vivid purple.â
The Hulu show poses questions related to quantum physics and existentialism. How good of a job does it do? And what kind of closure will next weekâs finale bring?
Whatâs a word for sincere pretentiousness that lacks depth? Thatâs what Devs is. One or two very clean, smart ideas ensconced in heavy-handed, too-familiar shots and color tones.Â
Slow talking. Long close-ups while a character slow talks (I canât say it âowesâ anything to Mr. Robot, but move that head to a random corner of the screen and...). Hack The Planet (tm) stuff I donât understand. Attempts to make quantum physics relatable. Plot seeds that never blossom. The annoying woman from The Newsroom. Nick Offerman. Hot bearded dude (the non-Ron Swanson one, but âhot Asianâ felt reductive).Â
Yet, thereâs that sincerity that engages us. Itâs certainly not a âfun,â watch but itâs itâs a watch worth having.
Social distancing has now become the norm in our lives and those who are vulnerable and elderly in our society will begin a long period of isolation along with us all; loneliness will inevitably grow.As we change our ways of living in society our focus must shift toward not only protecting the physical health of our seniors but their mental wellbeing too. With this in mind, we have been thinking about how we can play our part.Like many other young people during this crisis, we are volunteering our spare time outside of our day jobs to talking with our elderly population and providing them with a friendly person to speak to. In our podcast "Their Lives" we will listen and speak with our elderly community about their stories through the years and the amazing lessons/teachings from their adventures that can teach the younger generations in this uncertain time.We hope that our podcast will not only become a valuable experience for our guests giving them extended time to speak at length and reminisce about their history but hopefully, it would prove as comfort for senior people across the country as they can join collectively in reminiscing about past times. We want to hopefully achieve three things through our podcast:1. Allow for our older generations to inspire our younger generations with their stories2. To give our older generations a platform to collectively reminisce3. To entertain our audience but most importantly send them on their way with lessons that they can practically use during these difficult times. We are always looking for feedback, if you have any comments or recommended guests please let us know at [email protected]. Um...Michelle Visage is on Poshmark.Â
Dear god, I donât know if Iâve ever used the word âinsufferable,â when describing a documentary, but thatâs exactly what these women are. I shouldâve known when the one started crying, before they even started, because her backpack was so heavy.Â
Iâm not sure what the point of this is. Showing how petite white women get fed chicken and water, when caught by the copys/security/border patrol? Oh, the trailer says to âlearn about the people, places, and water.âÂ
Thereâs one crusty dude who does talk about the placeâŚafter 30 minutes in I skipped to 1:09 - itâs definitely beautiful scenery. Skipped to 1:16âŚby walking into a lake she sees how itâs all connected.Â
Into the Whine (get it? like, Into the Wild, but with this person). On their site they tag #girlswhohike. I wish theyâd put that girl in this documentary. I wish theyâd made this more watchable, because when it is talking about the message (how we abuse the water resources available) it is pertinent, mildly interesting, but definitely has a message that needs to be shared.
I feel like the thumbnail for the video tells you everything you need to know, about whether youâll like this or not.
If you REALLY want to get angry about how humans are horrible vis a vis water, watch Tapped.Â

Photographer Stefanie Moshammer's latest series highlights Colombia's pĂco culture, with its hand-painted towers of speakers. Writer Christina Noriega explains the traditions behind the subculture and what it will take to sustain them.
...how are painted speakers not more of a thing.Â
Hereâs the thing about Oasis, as much as my Blur vs Oasis answer is:Pulp. Oasis is some good fucking rock and roll. The US was starved for rock and roll. The US has zero taste in music. Oasis is better than the Beatles. Cigarettes and Alchol was my first Oasis song, I hadnât even come close to either, when this song came out. Some _mumbled noises about math and age+ years later, this album is still one of the best rock and roll albums of all time.Â
Itâs no Velocipastor, but Killer Sofa is an A- must-watch. If you like âRubber,â youâll be able to sit through this.Â
I do not care for Netta. I was bummed she won Eurovision with her song. However I do admire and delight in her staunch determination to be herself and make her...music...yeah, music. I envy her talents with that thingie (looping machine) but wish sheâd stand up for Palestine, at least a little. Sheâs always cute AF and definitely doing stuff nobody else is.Â

âEnd of the road for âAJ and The Queenâ @Netflix has decided to not extend our road trip across America. Thank you for all the love & support. We're so very proud of the work. @mizzizzyg @mlwooley @tiacarrere @joshsegarra @katerinavictoria @mwilkas #AJandTheQueenâ
Itâs so much better than you think. Not the WoW cash-grab I ignored it as, somehow still in 2020 heartfelt road trip dramadies ... comrama? Etc., it slips along the fine line of schmaltz and humor, actually feels like thereâs love in it, and Iâm bummed Netflix is stupid. (again.)(#onedayatatime)
