1. gintoki from gintama: self-destructive at times but can’t help getting attached to people and wanting to protect them anyway. he is real and i am not delusional.
2. totonou from don’t call it mystery: he is incredibly relatable to me. he is nosy af but he just wants to understand people. his characterization is done so well, down to the small things he has his own unique reactions to, like bathing in a stranger’s house or meeting someone who’s actually interested in the things he has to say
3. haiji kiyose from run with the wind: i also have knee issues. so his story & his reason for wanting to run with a team one last time strongly resonated with me. also he is a menace
4. fumi nishioka from queen’s quality: quirky charming strong-minded and has made me cry 72836 times
