Day 6 of Hudson Williams appreciation week: Favourite trait

It was a struggle to pick just one trait. I debated between multiple funny moments to draw, but I knew his humour would be covered by other creators (and rightly so). In the end I settled on something softer, because what endeared him to me fully was his heart and his passion. The way Hudson speaks so carefully and lovingly about creativity and the world/people around him, and doesn't shy away from talking about emotions, is a big part of why I adore him.

Day 5 of Hudson Williams appreciation week: Favourite interview

Good to see a lot of people picking the "Shut up Evan" podcast for this one. As much as I love all the interviews where Hudson is being a horny idiot making Connor squirm, I can't help but enjoy listening to him speak about some more serious topics and things that interest him even more. He seems to be unafraid to be so deeply human, so emotionally open but so playfully silly, there's no air of celebrity or arrogance about him at all. Don't even get me started on how respectful he is when speaking about women. If only more people saw the world and people around them the way he does.

I have way too many favourites so tried to go for something less... popular? I don't think the couple pics I've seen from this shoot get enough love.

Just a quick one today. Didn't get his likeness but oh well! Ink is hard. I'll paint it again properly when I get more time.

Day 2 of Hudson Williams appreciation week: Favourite appearance

I'm a little late posting this because well, I had to give Hudson's Met Gala look the time it deserved 😍 Regardless of whether you liked it or not, you can't deny he and his team went all out.

I used four different coloured ballpoint pens and a white gel pen on a base of two colours (peach and indigo) of acrylic paint slapped on the paper. Drawn in an A5 sketchbook.

Day 1 of Hudson Williams appreciation week: Favourite performance

Gotta start out with the one and only Shane Hollander. Hudson's performance as Shane had me obsessed with watching his every micro expression. It's crazy to see how much Hudson transforms into this role, he really did Shane so much justice.

This is a tiny drawing so I gave up on getting a strong likeness to Hudson, but still happy with it as I think it's still very Shanebug 😍
