Bart Hess’ series of ‘Slime Art’ is something to be seen. Bart Hess is exploring several fields that straddle material, animation and photography, these fall within the commercial and art world. Bart works in primitive and infinite ways. In collaboration with HeyHeyHey – Shiny latex and an endless grid of tubes transform the human into a mutant. The Mutant embodies the ever-changing boundaries between the digital and physical world.

My expression originates and transforms in a melancholy avant-garde universe. I evolve clothes based on a conceptual and sculptural approach to the process through experiments with forms and layers to create unconventional silhouettes. I work with a minimalistic palette where superfluous details are eliminated, with a focus on the essential design, textures and surfaces – rigorous yet organic, tough yet sensitive, bright yet dark, sensual yet innocent. The garments are constructed with the purpose of packaging the body; manage not to stray away from their original purpose. A clean, minimalist manifestation, were complex simplicity arises.
