but the worst, the most heinous of all crimes, is putting banana bread as shit tier? are you serious? have you had banana bread? have you EXPERIENCED it? you have it below fucking wonderbread-looking shit, below onion bread, and below a loaf someone haphazardly shoved fucking nuts in? banana bread loves you. banana bread sees that you bought too many bananas, that they’ve been sitting on your counter starting to get a little too ripe and says, hey, you know what it’s okay, we all buy a few too many bananas sometimes, why not whip up some of me, good ole banana bread, and i’ll be a sweet little treat, maybe a breakfast or a neat snack.

A year or so ago, I put together a list of Ereri authors to let people know of some writers whose works I admired and enjoyed. Today is fanfiction writers appreciation day, so here is the list again, reworked to include the many authors whose works I’ve read and enjoyed in the time I’ve spent in this fandom.

Some of these authors I owe a great debt to, for touching and inspiring me with their work and shaping my perception of the relationship between Levi and Eren. Some of them I recently discovered, and am still in the process of reading more of their work. Some of them I’m lucky and indescribably proud to be able to call my friends. Regardless, all of them are worthy of praise, recognition and thanks.

I know there’s a good chance some people will read this and be disappointed to not see their name in it, and for that I’m very sorry. In all likelihood it’s because I haven’t had the chance to read their work.

In any case, this goes out to all authors: thank you for your hard work and dedication and creativity and persistence and courage. Let’s all try to better ourselves, one beautiful phrase at a time.
