A lighting study I did at the end of last month, I think she turned out beautiful.

I haven’t figured out a name for her yet 🤔💭

I wanted to do more ballerina art so I tried something out with Miku,

I think she absolutely looks gorgeous in this romantic styled dress for her show.

I worked on this one for about 2 weeks and finished it sometime around 3 am last night, but in all honesty this was keeping sane during my summer midterm 😖

(I passed it with an A yippie !!!)

Fun fact: I finished this while I was on a plane back home and under 4 hours of sleep I still have no idea how I was able to lock in for the final details of it XD

Ok so a long while back i had this idea to make character sheets for my characters.

Since I am making a comic about them and I am the sole person working on it (My passion project) I thought making character sheets would make my life a little easier in the long run.

I posted these on my main acc on instagram but never really got to share it here.

For Luna the first image in pink I finished drawing this one back around April.

She is the protagonist of the story and whose pov the story follows most. I wanted to practice some of her facial expressions because I feel like I tend to default to smiling or neutral face with her. Despite the art that I often make of her, I’m the very beginning of the story Luna is very recluse and closed off none of the others know why tho. So I tried expressing that in her full body version that’s facing front.

For Cosmic however I went for a different approach, his I finished just last June (one in blue).

If it wasn’t already obvious Cosmic is from a different world than Luna.

In their story he is known as an Estellomistian, humans with animal traits (think of cat girls in anime for example) that have magic abilities , their appearance is very much tied to internal lore of the story so I’ll talk about that another day.

For Cosmic’s sheet I decided that instead of drawing his expressions like Luna I would draw his features instead as a point of reference for myself as I draw the comic.

I’m thinking of drawing his expressions on a separate sheet all together along with adding other important characters in my blogs in the future.

A few weeks ago I was feeling stressed about life and drew my characters as littlest pet shops

I love my little guys 💕

Can’t wait to see what the rest of the cast will look like ✨

A little backstory:

About a couple weeks ago I had the strongest urge to practice with my markers since I’ve felt like at the time I was spending too much time glued to my iPad screen rotating between doomscrolling and drawing on my art program. I started out with practicing on the sketch of a character of mine that I haven’t drawn in a really long time.

This is Estella, if you’ve gone through my page before you may have spotted her once or twice.

After her I made another character that I haven’t drawn in a while (this is starting to become a theme lol),

I wanted to practice facial hair while at it so here is Ross a farmer, and then I drew a character who was an herbalist and happens to be Ross’s wife Lian .

I think they’re pretty neat.

Small piece I made based on a sketch of my Ocs Luna (older girl) and Angie (winged kid).

I took it as an opportunity to do some dramatic lighting practice about a month ago, seemingly the easiest part for me to figure out was the candle light it’s self and how far it extends but the harder part was how the background should be constructed and how much light would reflect off the pillars.

Overall I think I did pretty good but would like any tips for future improvement. (*^_^*)

I had this nearly finished before finals kicked my butt , but all good people it’s over I passed !
