Now with that out of the way, let's get onto the rules for this blog

you may submit asks either anonymously or publicly venting about anything in general. Just please specify rather you need advice or just want to let out all your frustration. (I tend to be a fixer and want to help anyone who's hurt in anyway, so letting me know why you're venting to me will definitely help)

No use of any of the following; slurs of any kind, terms like "narcissistic abuse" or using the word narcissist in a bad way, < (unless you have NPD and you're venting about how your disorder causes you problems. Same goes for any disorder. If you wanna vent about how your disorders affect you, then by all means vent away), "so-and-so is soo bipolar", "this person is a druggie".

No calling anyone a pedophile in my asks/comments/re-blogs just because you don't agree with a ship they like, or if they're a l0lish0 < (censoring that so I don't get flagged). Those aren't pedophiles cause l0lis and sh0tas aren't real kids. fuck off. (real quick; while I myself do not like l0li/sh0ta content, I still will not stand for them being bashed. If it triggers you in any way, then you can vent about it, but do not bash people who like that stuff. Set your boundaries without attacking other people.) Pedophilia is a paraphiclic disorder that involves the sexual attraction to real kids. Most pedophiles actually want to get help. People who hurt real life children are predators, not pedophiles.

piggybacking off of number 3; do not bash anyone for any ship. You can complain about a specific ship in my inbox or my DMs, that's fine. But do not give me names of actual blogs and call them "disgusting freaks for it". This blog is a platform for people to share their feelings about certain things without hurting anyone. You can be uncomfortable with somethings and still be against censorship.

Please do not get too graphical about your sexual based trauma on this blog. I was sexually abused as a kid, a teen, and an adult, and with the recent release of the Epstein files, I am not mentally equipped to handle graphical descriptions of people's sexual based trauma. (you can vent about how it made you feel either on this blog or my other blog @confessionsofatraumatizedseal )

Speaking of; @confessionsofatraumatizedseal; that blog will be full of posts of me just "trauma dumping" about things and talking about my own experiences with the things I've been through my whole life, (I'm 25 if that helps). If you find yourself relating to anything I post over there; feel free to comment or reblog. Just don't try to give me any advice unless I specifically ask for it or have the post titled "advice needed".

Flight and Fight are not the only fear responses we have. There's also;

Flock - looking to the crowd around you to see what you should be doing. (This is common in an event of a natural disaster)

Freeze - Going stiff or when your muscles look up in fear. (This can happen in a multitude of scenarios, the more common of which being any form of physical or sexual abuse)

Flop - Disassociating/disconnecting from your own body during the event of an abusive situation. (Most common of which would be sexual abuse)

Fawn - Trying to appease one's abuser to stop or lessen the severity of the abuse at hand. (Like thinking, "maybe if I do or say this they won't hit me as hard" or something of that nature)

All of these are things that can happen in a situation of sexual assault. (Albeit, Flock would not be common, but you get my point.) There is always a reason someone might not say "no" when being assaulted, and none of them will ever be, "because they wanted it".

It all boils down to fear.

Careful they'll say you're "worst" than Epstein -_-.. 100% agree though they are not prioritizing what actually matters right now.

It's important to me that you people start thinking before starting to type your angry yapfests.

All those arguments are very much applicable to fictional content. Because fictional content is not real, fictional content is just pixels and lines and colours on a screen.

For the umpteen time, fictional content can not and will not ever be the same as actual CSAM/CSEM where REAL LIVING BREATHING CHILDREN are harmed, abused and exploited.

You can not exploit a drawing. You can not abuse lines on paper. You can not harm pixels depicting a fictional character.

In all seriousness though, the notion that a sexual abuse survivors have to be sex repulsed and remain a virgin forever is both stupid and dangerous.

Especially towards those who are hypersexual.

Deciding whether or not a victim is valid based off of how they treat the idea of sex after their traumatic event is a horrible thing to do.

An older example of a book, that has 100% fictional content, 100% fictional characters being censored for the sensitive topics they decide to go around. I just want to know about a similar book to "Daddy's Little Toy", so I could see a pattern of banning such books.

Hmm hmm, good question... 🤔

Well here are some possible precursors and similar cases from recent memory in sort of Anglophone "First World" countries:

Mr. Double (website) by Thomas Alan Arthur (USA, 2021) - This guy was sentenced to 40 YEARS in prison after he ran a website that hosted pornographic written stories about minors, which were deemed to be legally obscene. Although this was a very recent, shocking sentence that happened right here in the US, no one really cared, largely because everyone thought he was an asshole and a pedophile. Naturally no one is stupid enough to destroy their own reputation defending him in the name of "free speech" (well, except for me). At 70 years old, he will die in prison for fiction. I'll have to cover this more specifically later just to really piss everyone off lol.

Hansel et Gretel by Yvan Godbout (Canada, 2019) - A horror novel published in 2017 as part of an adult “Forbidden Tales” line. The author and publisher were charged producing and distributing CSAM (aka "child pornography"). However, in 2020 the Quebec Superior Court acquitted them when the court held that parts of the law were overbroad.

Lord Horror by David Britton (UK, 1989) - A grotesque satirical novel, that was ruled obscene in England. It is generally considered the last major printed work to be banned in Britain for obscenity, although this was overturned in 1992.

There's so much wrong with this, I don't even know where to start.

Apparently, "Thought crimes aren't real" is a hot take now.

You know why thought crimes aren't real? Because they are thoughts. Thoughts that happen in your head. And if they stay there, absolutely no crime or offence is being committed. It really is that simple.

it's okay to love or be obsessed with a fictional character.

it's not okay to harm people because of that fictional character that you love.

harming someone because they do not like a character that you love is not okay. harming someone because they interacted with a character that you love in the "wrong" way is not okay. harming people because they like a character that you love is not okay. harming people over a fictional character is not okay.

harming people in general is not okay, and we don't just mean physically. all forms of harassment, encouraging suicide and self-harm, doxxing, death threats, false and harmful accusations — all of these things can and do harm people.
