As a reminder, July is disability pride month! This pride month, I want us to especially think of:
Those with long-term/worsened disabilities because of their parents telling them to just work through it/get over it/"it's not that bad"
Those with disabilities stemming from childhood abuse
Those who know that they're disabled or suspect such, but can't get it diagnosed or checked out because of their parents/guardians disapproving
Those who know/suspect that they're disabled, but won't be diagnosed or checked out because they're "too young"
Those who struggle in or had to drop out of the harsh and mostly unaccommodating school system because of their disability or disabilities
Those who were lied to or not told they were disabled growing up so they could be raised "normal"
Those who have their privacy and autonomy violated as a combination of being disabled and being a child, as both of those groups are seen as not deserving their autonomy
Those who are disabled or had their disability (or disabilities) worsened because of the school system pushing them too far
Those who feel that they can never be one of the "normal" kids and that they'll always be isolated because of their disability or disabilities
Disabled folks who don't know or didn't know much about their disability as a kid because doctors would only explain to the parents/caretakers and no one bothered to talk to you
All disabled children having to deal with the intersectuality of being oppressed by both ableism and adultism.

Not to be patronizing, idk where you as a person are coming from in this community, but after reading your pinned posts id like to inform you that there is a lot of cross over between littles and age players. Theres a lot of puritans even in abdl spaces right now trying to spread this idea that you're only one or the other but this has never been true. I personally have had infantilism since i was an ACTUAL baby, and later developed regression as an episodic coping mechanism from cptsd. If youre interested in spreading awareness and education, i kindly ask you to include this. Though i know theres not exactly a lot of research on the subject, im just humbly asking you on anon to know we exist.
we are aware of the overlap between age players and age regressors and that some people can be both, and will take asks feom thise who are both. we will also take asks about anti-ageplay prejudice if it is also connected to anti-little prejudice in some way.
the mentions in the pinned post about it not being age play and not being welcoming to those who can't separate age play from regression was supposed to mean that most regression is not sexual and if you think all regression must be sexual, you are not welcome here- not to say that if regression and age play are linked for you specifically, you can't interact. we have previously had people come to our other blog seeing a post about our syskid and assuming it was about age play, so it was intended to stop that.

Discrimination against system littles and age regressors- who will be referred to collectively as littles- usually falls under ageism, but due to being experienced by people who are not bodily young, it is slightly different.
