I love the headcannon that Cin just joinks the knights with the most parental/familial issues and throws them into basically just a huge family of weird people just like them.
The thing is, madame Nu does this too.
The two have a decades old rivarly that just consists of stealing knights from eachother.
(Little do they know, that the archivists and guards see eachother as siblings and both Nu and Drallig as parents)
Went to Aldi today and there were three checkout counters open and all of them were staffed with people with identical body types and identical nose rings and identical short beards and identical manbuns
When I got in line there was one counter open and the line was huge so they opened a couple more while I waited so it was like copies of The Checkout Guy just kept coming out of the stockroom to duplicate his efforts
There was also an old woman in there, maybe 80 or 90 years old, and her phone went off and it was the Crazy Frog ringtone. Not the original ringtone. The song version.
Fic where the batfam forgets Tim's birthday because they're all busy as hell (life happens sometimes, nothing you can do about it) etc etc except he literally doesn't notice because his friends drag him out for the wildest fucking adventure for his 21st birthday. Tim's given 12-hour notice the day before so he can shove off all his responsibilities the next day to someone else—which he does with glee, he hasn't taken a break in years—and hauled out of bed before six am. They keep him busy the whole day, both with hero adventures and regular 21st birthday stuff. Anita has a bucket list. Tim is scared. Something gets blown up, which was on the bingo card for the day. They cover up a murder that they didn't commit, which was on Bart's bucket list. They reminisce about old times and someone yells at someone else. Greta cries a good amount. There are a lot of make-outs. Like, a lot a lot. And even more hugs. Cissie wonders why she loves them. Aloud. Several times. A child is acquired from space(???) that's calling Kon dad(?????) They leave her with Ma and Pa Kent until they can sort her out, are guilt-tripped into staying for dinner, then promise little Martha they'll be back for a sleepover and are off again.
They end up in a strip club (Cassie thought she was leading them to a regular bar. Her sense of direction is horrible, as it turns out) and neither of them are really strip club types of people so they rent out a private room with one of the strippers for a few hours and just talk. They tip handsomely. It's nice.
They go back to the farm to have the sleepover they promised, then all go home in the morning (after breakfast, Ma and Pa won't hear otherwise) with promises to help with little Martha if needed and visit more.
Tim's dropped back home at almost noon, happier than he's been in years, and genuinely doesn't notice his family didn't remember his birthday until he's rambling about some of the more regular stuff they got up to and everyone gets all quiet. They admit and apologize and feel all kinds of guilty. Tim’s like oh. It's fine. Anyway, he was slammed into a metal table, it ached like hell but he got a cool scar-

@worm-strung-string big hugs for the lovely art. Master Post
His soul nearly shattered with the strength of the call. Feemor rushed through the empty temple halls. His kindred had cleared the path for one of their own. It wasn’t until he saw the staggering Temple Guard bracing himself on the walls that Feemor understood why. Obi-Wan had returned. Injured beyond anything Feemor had ever seen. He slipped under his brother’s arm, receiving only a distracted greeting.
Obi-Wan did not recognize who had him. Feemor would not allow that to devastate him. He helped Obi-Wan down the corridor, making note of everything they would need to examine. The shuffling steps. The dark patch of blood seeping from one leg. The glazed sense over Obi-Wan’s consciousness. The Halls of Healing would be a better choice, but Temple Guards had their protocols and their own medical wing. Even Healers dedicated to their unique vows.
From the shadows of an intersection, another Temple Guard emerged. They were shaky in their steps, but only another Guard would recognize it. Feemor reached out to comfort this kindred and felt bursts of wind gusts buffering away his attempts.
“Not me, kindred.” The Guard walked beside them, but refused to touch Obi-Wan. “He has been through far worse. The darkness clings to his wounds. Just as it did his ship.”
“What happened?”
“I am unsure.” Fear rushed through the Guard. “It attacked… Something attacked. Our kin battled it back. Kept it from following him to an exit point.”
“Oh…. You saw this?”
“It is a blur to my memory. I must meditate and cleanse this grime from me before I can do anything to assist our kin. It sticks to his wounds.”
“Thank you. See the Healers.”
The Guard shook their head. “If I seek their assistance, they will be unfit to tend to him. I will alert them of the potential complication.” They gave a shallow bow before gliding quickly towards the Temple Guard’s wing. And its medical alcove. Feemor adjusted his grip on Obi-Wan for the continued march home.
Other Temple Guards, hastily dressed in only their training gear and mask approached to assist. No one felt comfortable using the Force around Obi-Wan. Together they lifted their kindred onto a stretcher. Feemor having to reassure Obi-Wan that this was for the best and did not mean Obi-Wan failed anything.
Finally safe within their sanctuary, Feemor removed Obi-Wan’s mask. He blinked when he did not recognize his kindred. Obi-Wan’s face was exactly the same as Feemor remembered yet the Dark influences distorted everything. The blood soaking one side of his face did not help. Obi-Wan’s gray-blue eyes faded under this intense gloom. Wiping away the blood stained hair, Feemor froze at a chill against his fingers.
A thin lock of hair gleamed stark white amid the dirty auburn hair. He isolated it, lightly running his fingers through the ice cold strands. Obi-Wan shivered. Feemor hated causing his brother pain, but he needed to know. All he found was an absence of Obi-Wan in those strands. He released a careful breath to avoid spooking anyone and backed away.
The Healers stepped in and did their work. It was a process, protocols to keep the identity of masked Temple Guards protected. Obi-Wan would be in the Halls of Healing within the hour and in a bacta tank soon after.
Feemor had an important message to relay. “Master Drallig?” His voice shook with just those few words. “You need to come to the Sanctuary.” The Battlemaster did not ask useless questions. He confirmed he was on the way. That was all Feemor needed finally take a seat, removing his mask only to bury his tears into his arms.
He couldn’t be sure how long it took until Cin settled next to him on the bench. A warm presence filled the space and Feemor simply turned into the leader of the Temple Guards. “He will recover,” Cin said quietly.
“I know,” Feemor muttered. “But he’s too young to be lost.”
“We do not know what he is being sent to accomplish. I got the report of what the Guard saw when erasing the Echos from that ship. We can only do as the Force wills. And be there for him when he struggles. Same as we do for any Guard.”
“It’s not fair.”
“It never is. Demanding it to change will only increase your grief.” Cin rested an arm across Feemor’s back and pulled him into a side hug. “It will not change what Obi-Wan will continue to do.”
“Is their anything we can do to help?”
“I honestly do not know, Feemor. Keep an eye on him. Do not treat him any differently. Giving him a reason to remain is the only thing that has kept so many among us. They are still Temple Guards who know their purpose. It is not a phenomenon isolated to the Guards either. Many Jedi Masters have become lost in the Force. Ones who slip into meditation and never wake.” Cin frowned. “Obi-Wan has you and Quinlan. You’ll both help him remember who he is beyond being an instrument of the Force.”
Feemor finally nodded, wiping away the dried tears. “How long do they think he will need in the bacta tank?”
“The Healers determined he didn’t need it. Just bacta infusions and assisted healing trance. He was more exhausted than injured.”
“But he was bleeding.”
“Most of it was not his. The rest had been treated in the field. Someone is looking out for him… where… when… ever he goes. The darkness is troubling. That is seldom something the Guard must deal with alone. Which I believe is increasing the stresses.”
“The white hair did not feel like him.” Feemor explained. “It felt.. absent of him. Like pieces of him was taken.”
“We can only monitor it. Anymore and it will interfere with what he is doing. It is not something we’ll be able to control, no matter how much we desire it.” Cin patted Feemor’s back. “Go sit with him. Familiar presences will help. Perhaps not Quinlan yet. That boy is too honest and would scare Obi-Wan at this point in time.”
A chuckle rippled through Feemor. “When Obi-Wan is stable enough to return to his room, I’ll call Quinlan.” He picked up his mask and stared at the golden lines. They had all chosen this path with all its dangers and unseen obstacles. There was only so much each of them could do alone. But Obi-Wan was not alone. Not completely.
I think a pet deposit is stupid but at least its a stupid I can understand you know. like sure a pet could cause more damage so extra "in case of damage" money is owed. whatever. at least I have a chance of getting it back. but pet rent is bonkers crazy. like no the amount of rent thats due is what the rent is. my cat isn't like raising property tax. normal rent isn't even calculated by number of people living in the house. you can't raise the rent when an extra person moves in. what. "pet rent". what the hell are you talking about. you sound insane. its a bunny rabbit

A while back there was a tiktok going “Ooo this is the best restaurant and I’m not telling you where it is ;) you’re going to have to guess ;)))”
And another guy stitched it with a whole breakdown of her most recent posts to go “The day before you posted this you posted another video saying you met this celebrity and he had just posted that he was in this city. You also posted a video in a hotel room and after searching up hotels in this city, we can tell it was this hotel because the wallpaper in your video matches the wallpaper in pictures on their website. By looking up restaurants by this hotel we can tell you went to this specific restaurant” and he was right
And people called him a creep, but I think we should take this as a moral lesson to lie about ourselves online more. I’m actually a talking dog and I live in a Montreal poutinerie
