The astolat inspired plot is evident in the intricacy of world building and emotional developments that creep onto each character, but the story has a unique style all its own with points such as humorous plays on the elven world that underlies the Continent and the inclusion of Geralt and Yennefer's canon passion for one another. Iorveth's personal journey is heart wrenching, but Corvo Bianco and her occupants embrace him for an ultimately feel good ending (and promise of a bright future.)

Ciri's empress ending with a twist - a middle finger to any of those who have tried to influence her future. This gem of a fic empowers a Witcher to see her full potential with endless book and game references and details that pull the reader into the plot of possibilities! Dip a toe into the waters of the rarepairs within this captivating storyline without fear - Ciri is true to her character in all her interactions.

What would happen if Geralt accepted his Child Surprise in the most tangible sense from the beginning? How could the story of Ciri's parents unfold when critical pieces are put into place before her arrival? An interesting story of Destiny rewritten, addressing topics such as; poor sex education, timely expressed truths, and gender feelings.

Sexy & spooky! This Emralt fic impresses with its plot that does not shy away from dealing with the uncomfortable tension between the two (read: book canon plot line) while also maintaining an unsettling, unnatural world around them. Just as equally featured & excellent are the steamy smut scenes with some very consensual power play dynamics.

Young Nenneke will entrance you in this story from her perspective. Her interactions with a young Geralt discovering himself after his second trials capture the heart as well as the beginning shape of their relationship to come for decades. I'm always leery of fics with OCs, but this one is a Master Witcher who feels as if he could be canon and represents the Wolf School principles and characterizations as Geralt and his brothers showcase in their adulthood.

In time for Halloween, here's a spooky monster mystery fic! From the perspective of an outside character, this fic catches Geralt in a unique context of having regained his memories from TW2, but not yet linked up with Vesemir to begin the TW3 plot. If you're not a huge fan of horror like myself, you will enjoy the heart warming wrap up to this story!

I will likely feature them at a later point as I eye their other fics which look equally as enjoyable from a plot/character exploration stand point!

Second fic rec for @eskelchopchop, but it's truly a travesty this fic doesn't have more love! An incredibly rarepair with a shocking amount of chemistry, Eskel and Istredd bond over their pasts (lovers included). The murder mystery plot is enriched by the author's addition of Istredd's History Corner which shares resource supported facts on NYC's LGBTQIA history! This story with a moral feels cathartic for the characters and reader alike.

As only his longest known friend and lover can do, Eskel knows just how to unwind the high strung White Wolf. The dynamic between these two feels perfectly balanced between sarcasm, filthy desire, and tenderness expressed through physical care. There are so many feelings packed into this intense smut that the peppered humor of witcher camaraderie will keep you from falling too deep into the angst.

Slow burn, friends to lovers, complicated relationships, angst and found family abound. This modern AU take parallels several book events critical to the development of Geralt and Yennefer's relationship, but the other 75% is a beautiful brain child of a plot that only serves to intensify the yearning between our emotional constipated lovers. Although still a WIP, this fic is worth the read (and maybe several re-reads) and hitting the subscription button!
