i cannot stand the geraskier ship. while i 100% do see some levels of homoerotic undertones through joey batey’s jaskier, the whole geraskier dynamic seems to constantly berate geralt’s relationship with yennefer, and berating yennefer herself. yennefer of vengerberg is geralt’s true love. that’s it. end of story. to promote a man who is portrayed pretty solidly across book and game content as a womaniser and scoundrel as geralt’s secret but deepest love is just fucking insane to me. they are best friends, they are like brothers. but geralt has the love of his life and that is yennefer. idk the idea of a complex woman being sidelined for uwu brokeback mountain fanon jaskier grates me. it reeks of misogyny
