I find the fact that Vesemir is travelling with Geralt at the beginning of Witcher 3 quite endearing. Vesemir wouldnโt have seen much of him in recent years. Geralt had died. Then, he mysteriously reappeared at Kaer Morhen (albeit an amnesiac), before having to set off again for the events of Witcher 1. They wouldnโt have met again until after the events of Witcher 2. I canโt help but think that, after all Geralt has been through, Vesemir was thinking โDamn, I canโt let my dumbass son go out on his own again.โ
