Disney Kids & Family Unveil Release Date For "The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder" Final Season. Renews Overall Development Deal With Bruce W. Smith And Ralph Farqhuar.

Today, Disney Kids & Family announced that the fourth and final season of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder will premiere on Wednesday, July 29, ahead of the original series’ 25th anniversary.

The news comes on the heels of Bruce W. Smith and Ralph Farquhar’s extending their overall development with Disney Television Animation under the extended deal, Faqhuar and Smith will continue to develop new shows, films and specials for Disney Channel and Disney+ as well full access to revive/reboot legacy IP for a new generation of kids and families.

Other creators which extended their overall deal with Disney Television Animation include "Prep & Landing" creators Kevin Denters and Stevie Wermers-Skeleton, "Primos" creator Natasha Kline and "StuGo" creator Ryan Gillis.

Season 4 finds the Proud family at a life-changing turning point. Penny Proud is pulled into a series of unexpected adventures that test her courage and identity. With more action-packed, mind-bending and heartfelt twists than ever before, the Prouds face every new challenge head-on, proving that no matter how chaotic life gets, they’re strongest when they face it together.

New guest stars for S4 include pop superstar Mariah Carey, Romany Malco (A Million Little Things), Chloe Bailey (Grown-ish), Lorraine Toussaint (Orange Is the New Black), sports radio personality Christopher “Mad Dog” Russo, Kym Whitley (The Bay), French DJ/rapper/producer Dee Nasty, Adele Givens (The Hughleys), Ali Wong (Tuca & Bertie), JB Smoove (Mapleworth Murders) and Lashana Lynch (Still Star-Crossed), and more are set to join recurring guests Anthony Anderson (Ray Ray) and Tiffany Haddish (Ms. Hill).

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder has garnered recognition and critical acclaim by winning a NAMIC Award, multiple NAACP Image Awards, including for Outstanding Animated Series, and a Children’s and Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for an Animated Series. Additional accolades for the series include GLAAD Media Awards and Annie Awards nominations.

20th Century Games Licenses "The Simpsons" IP To Epic Games Program For Third Party Development Of New Gamers.

D’oh! Homer, Marge, Bart and the rest of “The Simpsons” cast of characters are set to run riot in a slew of new battles across Epic Games’ Fortnite under a new pact.

Disney and Epic Games announced that “The Simpsons” is joining Fortnite’s IP Partner Program, giving third-party developers the tools to create “fully authentic” games using the animated franchise’s characters and settings for the first time.

It’s the latest initiative to come out of Disney’s $1.5 billion investment in Epic, announced in February 2024. And “The Simpsons” have dropped into the Fortnite universe before: Disney and Epic in November 2025 launched a month-long battle royale season with “The Simpsons” featuring the 80-player Springfield Island in the online game. According to Disney, the Simpsons battle royale season reached 80 million unique players with a cumulative 750 million hours played.
