as a Balkaner, I have gripes with the concept* of King Ottokar's Sceptre, even if so far I haven't read it yet
because it's fictionalization of real life countries that already do not get much representation as is
(and if we do get it - it's usually just the conflict of "erm, these Balkan people don't LIKE each other")
These thoughts are what I have so far, because while I didn't read it yet, I do plan to, so I can give my FULL thoughts on this
PS. I would appreciate if people didn't tell me that I can't dislike Ottokar's Sceptre if I didn't read it yet. I agree, for now I'm gonna put that on hold.
