Also this is another long rant. Anyway.

I debated on whether or not NY should be a hairless cat. Idk why but he gives the vibes of a mean hairless cat. Originality I was just gonna give him fur anyway but then I saw the photo below and knew he was born to be hairless. Greg takes extra good care of him since he is a Sphinx cat and needs it. His lack of hair does not stop him from scrapping and getting injured btw. How he's still alive is a mystery. He also keeps bringing dead rats to Greg. There's none in the cafe, he's had exterminators over regularly to look. So Greg isn't sure where they keep coming from or WHY NY thinks Greg likes them. (He sneaks out back and kills a bunch in the alley behind the shop. Its his favorite pass time)

Also he thinks that because NY's fav toy is a rat toy (not mouse) named splinter that Greg likes rats. Get the reff please... Moving on.

California was always gonna be a Calico lets be real. He's a very happy guy. Greg however noticed he's MAD weird. California will scratch Greg for calling him a "good girl" since he's biologically a female cat. But not when he's called a "good boy" so Greg assumes Cal is trans without him knowing what it means. California doesn't know he's a cat. But he is. We love that (also another goose idea ty). California is obsessed w the catnip balls hung up around the cafe. Like Obsessed. Almost as bad as Colorado. He's usually playing with one when he's not hissing at Texas or stealing attention from costumers by being cute. Who doesn't love a hippie cat?

I haven't thought Abt how Greg's parents acquired so many cats for the cafe yet. So I'm going w most of them are rescues until I think of something. Shhhhh.
