Being on the asexual spectrum does not cause you to have a lower libido. In fact, having a high libido and being asexual is very uncomfortable.

I'm sick of seeing fanfiction where an ace character's asexuality basically amounts to a low libido and an apathy towards sex.

I feel Martin would have really hated bathtime as a kid, it was not his favourite time of the day so he'd put up a fight.

He'd constantly carve his initials into ANY surface all the time, such as trees, furniture ect, with his small dagger he got gifted.

Temper tantrum every five minutes as a kid, he'd never do as he was told straight away.

Certified oversharer which isn't much of a hc since he did actually share his whole life story with Arnaud.

I'm not fully on board with this hc yet, I understand he got forced to marry at 16 (in the real story it was 14...) which explains why he's very sex aversive but it makes me think he could be asexual, like in the 96 version he went as far as to sleep on the floor and finally run away after his humiliation.

We can take it a step further and say he's also aromantic since he had no interest in marriage(at the time). He only wanted to rekindle his relationship with Bertrande because Arnaud technically convinced him to, and Martin agrees since he's his best friend who must know what's right for him. I'm not any of these two things but I've read from others that at first they feel different or broken so they do end up trying to get in a relationship to feel fixed so maybe that's what Martin felt I guess. I think it's interesting anyway.

okay but what's your opinion on real ace, acearo or aro people? Do you respect their ace, aro, acearo status or is it "a spectrum" to you too?

What if we want representation of a character that doesn't want sex or romance or both. Why can't we have that? Why are you taking that away from us? What? Because you can't understand how anyone even a fictional character doesn't want love or sex?

Unless that character is say explicitly aroallo and you ship them so they can fuck another character. Okay chill
