not to be that jjk fan who’s too woke but i think a reason Megumi and Yuta are the most targeted victims of the fandom’s fraud agendas and slander is because they’re both openly caring characters who have large parts of their lives centering women. i don’t think this is the only reason nor do i think the jokes are wrong by any means (the term “potential man” has genuinely taken over my vocabulary), but it’s too much of a coincidence to me. they’re so undeniably caring and compassionate and are motivated by women in a way that none of the other male jjk characters really are, so it’s interesting to me that they’re the ones constantly getting ribbed on by the fanbase (especially the male part)

i love the thought of teenager gojo and geto meeting for the first time and gojo being absolutely bewildered by how despite being an equal to gojo, geto is just so terribly human. like he laughs with his whole heart and feels resentment with his whole heart and makes mistakes and fixes them, while all his life gojo has been taught that he’s above emotions and above mistakes and above everything that makes people human. he sees geto sketching in his diary one day despite sucking ass at sketching and tries it himself and finds out that he’s naturally talented at the arts. he goes out to the karaoke with geto and shoko one day and finds out he doesn’t sing that bad. then one night in his dorm, he realizes he’s finding bits and pieces of himself that he never knew existed because he was taught that he was above it all. above life, above trial and error, above hobbies, above passions. then, he decides to build it all up from scratch again. play baseball whenever he can just because he can, sketch whatever’s in front of him because he wants to, steal nanami’s socks from his locker because it makes him feel giddy, show up late to class every day because why not? and that, ladies and gentlemen, is how we have the 29 year old cannot-take-anything-seriously gojo satoru we have in jujutsu kaisen. because somewhere along the way, he met someone who made him realize that he too, can make mistakes, be late, be annoying and slack off because he’s human. not a god. never a god.
