You know, with all the complications of the Cersei/Jaime/Brienne plot, I sometimes wonder if things would've been easier if Jaime/Brienne were platonic. Like it makes it so much simpler doesn't it? No wonder some people are desperately clinging to "platonic jb" logic. I wish I could lol. It would save me so much pain.

can the asoiaf fandom please stop equating mental illness or “madness” with evilness please? yes mentally ill characters can and do do evil things but a lot of yall spend a lot of time trying to prove that certain characters are “mad” in order to prove that they’re evil and that just does not sit right with me at all. if a character is suffering from trauma and mental illness that does not give you the right to point at them and go “see? look they’re evil” and i would like you to reflect on the way you view mentally ill people irl

If you write super long fics I highly recommend doing this!

You as the author know where the story takes a breath and starts gearing up for the next arc, but the readers don’t. So leave a little “this is a good place to stop and come back for more later”.

It will also get you 1 of 3 types of comments:

1. (appreciation) thank you so much it’s 4am and i have work

2. (sass) yeah sure right *clicks next chapter*
