You're not grown until you know how to communicate, apologize, be truthful and accept accountability without blaming someone else.

It is okay if the past still affects you. You can understand why it happened. You can have insight. You can be thriving in most areas of your life. And still something small can trigger the old pain. This does not mean you have gone backwards. It means you are human. You are allowed to still be affected.

it’s okay to forgive yourself. you didn’t know any better. and even if you did, forgive yourself. we’re human. use it as a way to grow and move forward, don’t allow it to hold you back from healing

Flowers do not bloom overnight, so neither will the version of you you’re trying to build will. The things you survived took their time rewiring your brain. So give healing its time to do the same, because this time it’s your choice. It’s your choice to heal.
