i remember talking with a friend once about how i always found oil painting quite difficult for me to catch onto, but she said it came naturally to her. Painting always kinda wracked my brain bc i couldn't quite understand how to construct things unless i had lines. it was in that conversation i realized with my friend some artists think in blocks of color and some think in lines, and i always found that fascinating 🧐
