For all artists looking to draw Prince Cardan
Here are is a list of descriptions taken from The Cruel Prince (requested especially by @ladymxdnight Hope you like (: )
• Iridescent midnight black hair
• Significant height (not much mentioned here)
• Moon pale skin with a delicate tracery of faded scars on his back
• A slim, nearly hairless tail with a tuft of black fur at the tip (mostly hidden)
• Sinister, looming authority
1. A long, black coat with a high jagged collar stitched with a pattern of constellations. A circlet of gold in his hair, and kohl under his eyes
2. A high collared tunic embroidered with thorns, fingers heavy with rings
3. A gleaming steel chestplate that hooks over his shoulders, booted feet
4. Loose white linen and a flower crown all of roses
5. Extravagant doublets and breeches, gaudy, fur edged capelets and spider-silk shirts (ruffly)
6. Green velvet with golden stitching picking out thorns tipped in blue thread
7. Black gloves, a black suit of clothes, raven feathers covering the upper half of his doublet, boots with excessively pointed metal toes, a crown of woven metal branches, cocked slightly askew, dark silver paint streaking over his cheekbones, black lines along his lashes, the left one is smeared. A flimsy silver fox half mask
8. A coat over a vest and loose shirt, different shades of cream, breeches and a neckcloth, silver tipped boots and a single sapphire earring in his left ear
9. Breeches and a waistcoat, another coat fitted in his shoulders, tapering sharply at the waist, falling to his midthigh, uncut velvet in a deep burgundy, ivory velvet at lapels, shoulders, and waistcoat, covered in stitching of golden thread, golden buttons and golden boot buckles, a ruff of pale owl feathers at his throat, rings on his hand
