it baffles me how the 'enemies to lovers' trope is so thoroughly misunderstood. The bottom line is bullies are not enemies. They're tyrants. Despots. Dystopian. Ron × Hermione can be seen as enemies to friends to lovers. Death Eater babies or any one from the dysfunctional group do not fall under enemies to lovers. The fandom is more than welcome to indulge in their fantasies but falling in love with your bully is rarer than the sun setting in the east.

Lily stretched out cat-like. Her arms then went behind her head to ruffle James' hair.

"Mmmm, you look good in my flannel," mumbled James as he kissed her neck.

"Oh, no no no mister, we have to get up today!" Lily said even though she hadn't pulled away from his warm embrace. "No funny business."

"But you love my funny business."

She could feel the smirk forming on his lips and a smile started to appear on hers.

"Didn't you have enough last night?"

"You should know by now Mrs. Potter, that I could never have enough of you."

They were thirty minutes late for Christmas, but no one was really surprised.
