"Okay, mate. Keep your hair on," Charles huffs, trying to inject some levity into the situation. Still, though, he attempts to ease Edwin's anxiety by taking a step back. "It's just a book, innit? What's it gonna do, bite me?"
"It is not just a book," Edwin breathes, still clutching Charles' wrist. "That is…" His voice falters; he tries again. "That is the satanic grimoire that sent me to Hell," he explains shakily.

When Grace Chasity stepped off that football field, she was a changed woman. No longer an innocent soul: she had a new conviction. Can anyone save her from this mess, or is she a vessel that They now possess? ------- Please ignore the super unoriginal title. But this does kind of intend to be a sequel picking up right at the end of NPMD (actually, it picks up right after the Lords in Black take Max, so a little before the end). Kind of a Grace Chasity character study, kind of an excuse to write again. Grace and Steph will get together in this at some point but Grace has a long way to go before she is even thinking about anything like that, and Steph doesn't know she likes Grace yet either. She's a sapiosexual, so she has to learn more about this new Grace, just as Grace is learning about herself.
TW: Everyone has some PTSD and this will manifest in flashbacks and panic/anxiety attacks. Grace is especially haunted and is basically having a mental break the whole time so expect those types of themes and thoughts.
