I once said negative attention is attention too and attention is for the lovely people. I know letting go of the one you've been sad posting about is hard af. Especially if you're stubborn and not one to give up easily. Feel that big time. But fact that you're sad posting does show that even though ya want it ya ain't happy with that person either. Learned a lot from loving the wrong people, yet seeing how happy I've felt even single simply laughing with friends. I mean platonically loving your friends is great too. We can't lie about our feelings, they're real and valid and can't be helped. Not loving your friend back and honestly telling him is fair. Don't hold them on a line, on the long term honesty is the kindest, bc that way they can move on faster. It would sure hurt him, but fact that you care shows your heart is in the right place. If he needs space, give him that space and let him know you're there for him whenever. I mean you still care about him. Hopefully he can make a new start and get closer again, this time strictly as friends 🙏🏼
