Case No. 001 is up and running!

Prides captain Claudia Stewart was found gruesomely murdered in October, 1951. We are playing out the investigation of her death in real-time and offering a handful of suspects as a G&M signature: temporary characters!

With a temporary character, you will be allowed to ‘test drive’ our site with no expectations or commitment. If you want to join G&M once the case is concluded, we’d be happy to have you! If you’d rather keep searching for your rp home, then there are no hard feelings! We’ll wish you luck and thank you for your time with us.

Currently the characters we have available are: Emma Norden, Claudia Stewart’s friend and roommate, or Bella Barnes, a Prides chaser who was moved off the bench following the death of her captain. Claudia’s mother Isobel, and her known stalker - Prides superfan Jacob Murray - are already in play.

G&M has returned from a two week recess with a gorgeous new skin and newly tweaked subplots to celebrate our 5 year anniversary!

Staff would like to give a huge shoutout to the G&M community: To those of you who have been with us since the beginning, as well as to those who have chosen to call our community their rp home a bit more recently, thank you! December 1951 is in full swing! And for the first time, GM has three in-character events (or activities) going simultaneously. 

• The RomCom AU event is up and running if you need some silly fluff. We all understand the brainpower and energy it takes to be creative, and with things going the way they are, sometimes it’s nice to have the break of writing something low-effort. These are kinda like the ‘grilled cheese and tomato soup/comfort food’ threads

• Case No. 001 is live and our Aurors are actively investigating Claudia Stewart’s death. (There is still one temporary character left for the Case No. 001 event - Bella Barnes, a Chaser for the Pride of Portree and teammate of Claudia’s. Don’t forget, temporary characters are open to the public and come with no expectation or obligation to officially join the site after the event ends!)

Witch Watchers Wanted!

Taika is a conspiracy theorist. And a bit of a nutjob, according to his neighbors. The London Police roll their eyes every time he telephones. Every paper in town, reputable or not, groans whenever they see his name attached to a letter.

You see, he’s convinced that magic is quite real. He’s noticed the alarming number of disappearances that have occurred over the last year and a half, and he knows there’s something sinister at work… Good thing he finally found someone who believes him.

G&M’s September Event is quickly approaching! Free-for-all threading opens up on December 4th and the main attraction will kick off on December 18th. Come cozy up in a darkened theater with your favorite person and enjoy a few moments of relaxation while it lasts. 

This event we are offering a large group of temporary characters, which are claimable by guests and members! Temps are a no app, no hassle opportunity to come write with us!

Former Auror Morrigan Lupin has had a difficult time in the press lately. After casting Fiendfyre during the Christmas Eve Massacre, she was taken captive by the Death Eaters, and has been a focus of the media circus ever since. After being named as a prospective candidate for Head Auror, she chose to join the Witch Watchers - a special Ministry of Magic force that is stationed at strategical places in search of fugitive criminals.

Alexander Calvert wanted as Armand Longbottom for romance plot! Age 26, Gryffindor Alumni, and future father of Frank Longbottom.
