I started watching the first episode of Liar Game and immediately Nao is not asking any of the questions I would have in her position. With my disbelief adequately suspended to accept the Liar Game itself to be legally binding, I’d start with the question of interest rates. This game could put me 100 mil in the hole, yeah? Logically even a low interest rate would be sufficient to make losing an incentive to at least try a bit. Who actually owns my debt and what is their policy on collection? If the serial numbers need to match to score points and avoid debt, that means using the money to turn a profit is only disadvantageous within the context of the game. In theory, the money becomes a line of credit with virtually no limit. This isn’t to say I wouldn’t also just chuck it in my dresser and start spiraling. Lord knows I’m not the most composed person. And it’s also not me saying Nao is stupid or poorly written or asking the wrong questions. It’s more just like. Damn. My way of thinking is completely incompatible with this girl.

I have no interest in Marriagetoxin unless the protagonist helps his marriage coach medically transition and marries her. Nobody can get me to watch that shit otherwise.
