4+5: Frisk covers their face with their hands. "No, not— I think the only thing I have is... being a good person. Like, I'm nice, but what else is there?" 6: An image of Frisk standing under a spotlight, on a patch of flowers. They hold their soul in their hands and look upwards. "Maybe I'm only here because I was what everyone needed me to be. Nothing else."

7: Chara says, "Frisk, I was taken in and I was the exact opposite of what they 'needed.' 8: The post-pacifist photo of the ensemble from Undertale. Chara continues, "The standards of monsters are pretty low." 9+10: Two images of the Dreemurr Family leaning over an indistinct bed, and their hands holding Chara's. "I made things worse, and they still wanted me." 11: Frisk turns to their side and says, "'The future of humans and monsters,' right?" 12: They continue. "Sounds like they kinda did need you." Chara, even with a slight smile, looks hurt and shocked. The line of a heartbeat runs behind them. 13: Chara's hand tightly grips a handful of small flowers.

14: Camera pans out to Frisk and Chara in what's revealed to be a garden. Chara is quiet as Frisk says, "...Chara? I'm sorry." 15+16: Chara pauses, still looking hurt. A tear rolls down their cheek. They say, "It seems we were both given roles." 17: An image of Chara and Frisk looking at each other. Chara smiles and Frisk looks neutral, or bored. Between them is a knife and a tree-stick. Chara continues, "Roles we had to play, in order to be where we are now." 18: Chara joins Frisk, lying down in the grass. "It is terrible. I would not wish this on anyone." 19: The tops of both of their heads, with a small patch of flowers above them. Frisk says, "I don't know which role is worse."
